Their own chart shows no warming for 18 years 2 months. The chart is also quite clear that there has been no statistical warming for 26 years. The statement you are quoting is sop to the AGW crowd, but bears no reality to their own chart. In fact the statement accompanying their chart is a demolishing of all the 'models' that the AGW crowd has used to whip up the lie of AGW.

As can be seen there has been no warming of any statistical meaning since 1988, or 26 years. The bolded language is a smack down of the models, upon which we are supposed to plan our lives, because they are, after all, climate-astrologists and they know the future, their models tell them so. Oops.

The yellow band is the 5% to 95% range of output from CMIP-5 climate simulations The mean value of each time series average from 1979-1984 is set to zero so the changes over time can be more easily seen. Note that after 1998, the observations are likely to be below the simulated values, indicating that the simulation as a whole are predicting too much warming.
The use of the word "likely" is another sop.

Infalibility applies only to matters of faith and morals.

It's immoral to rape and pillage the planet God created.

The Pope understands this.

So since LongWindedSpamalot stated that Gingrich was indicted, and cannot provide evidence of that, what does that make him?

So since LongWindedSpamalot stated that DeLay had been Speaker of the House, and cannot provide evidence, what does that make him?

And since you are so knowledgeable tell us how two higher courts threw out the DeLay conviction. Which I posted about a day ago, on another thread. That's right, it is well known that the DeLay conviction was overturned by two higher courts, yet this thing calling itself LongWinded posts only about his having been convicted. And what do you call that?

He's a hater of pretty much everything. You won't change that....

Who is talking about "rape" or "pillage"? Using the natural resources is neither when properly done. Man's CO2 output pales with the natural CO2 output and CO2 is not a pollutant.

Yeah, maybe we can all go back to oil lamps to light the darkness. Oops! Kerosene. Okay, whale oil instead. Oops! Candles it is. How're they gonna make all those candles?

Not everyone can burn wood to keep themselves warm.

And I eagerly await those now embracing the Papacy to do so on more than a proposed, as yet unwritten, encyclical about man-made climate change. Perhaps they should start with Humanae Vitae?

None of the argument really matters...

The very fact that people eat/live/breathe/eat/defecate/whatever means "everything is finite". No matter how frugal or how "respectful" humans are toward their planet...things will run out or be made uninhabitable sooner or later.

This is an impetus to leave....

Wabi sabi........

I do not believe that at all.
