I have to ask: Did this guy really think that he was so damn 'all that and a bag of chips' that he could intimidate a group of teenagers? In 2015? Or did he have some sort of brain fart and think it was the 1950's?
I don't think so. The dad was obviously and quite rightly upset that the kids couldn't respectably shut up for at least a few minutes out of 23 hours and 57 minutes on of this particular day in their lives. It is about respect, if not for the flag then for the feelings of others.
My father would have flattened me all over the bleachers if i had acted so embarrassingly like those kids had.
Thanks from Tony, roastpork and kbear

Yeah, but he's your father.

This guy wasn't the kids father.
Thanks from Tony

You've just outlined what's wrong with America: too many people just like you, basically. It's actually shameful to read your post......

My father would have given him carte blanche to flatten me across the bleachers if he so desired. If the man wouldn't, than he would.

What nonsense. In your ideal Communist world...of course there'd be no business conducted at a sport venue...but you'd be standing there...shoulder to shoulder...singing the national anthem...or else.

So would my father.

But if some OTHER father did it to me, my dad would have cleaned his clock.
