do you really think people buy tickets, food and drinks just to hear the national anthem? it has nothing to do with business. it's an American tradition that still means something to some people.

I remember when I was a kid..

I got into trouble, in the neighborhood, I was chastised by other parents in the neighborhood.

When I got home, Mom and Dad had their say on the situation.

If this was me, it was on camera.. my dad saw it.. can you say See you at the wood shed.

I don't care if I was 30.. or 13.

I guess I have a different viewpoint on it because when I was a kid, I rarely got in trouble. And, when I was in high school and getting in real trouble, I didn't get caught.

"You are not in trouble until you are caught." ('Ndrangheta adage)

You are trying to reverse my logic. I never suggested that no business be conducted at an NFL game. Just the opposite. The NFL is free to charge whatever they want and I participate as a customer. When you walk into a department store or a restaurant you don't stop to sing the National Anthem. At one time in a America's past it might have been acceptable at a pro sporting event. I go to my local high school football games and have no problem singing the national Anthem. What the NFL is doing is marketing their sport as a patriotic event when it's as cold a business as exists. Hell, the taxpayers even pay to build these palaces for these billionaire owners. Isn't that socialism ?

Why don't you just move to Venezuela, where you can live happily ever after?

I have to ask: Did this guy really think that he was so damn 'all that and a bag of chips' that he could intimidate a group of teenagers? In 2015? Or did he have some sort of brain fart and think it was the 1950's?
Did this FATHER, in a home he provides for his teenagers, believe he was teaching his children good manners? Or, in 2015, are the teenagers under the opinion, they can tell their father to got to hell and get away with it.

Pay attention. The kids did not belong to this guy. He didn't know them from Adam.
Thanks from catus felis
