Mad Dad Tells Off Kids For Yapping During National Anthem, Gets YEARLONG Ban From Gam

https://news.yahoo.com/mad-dad-tells...lkA1lIUzAwMV8x

I have to ask: Did this guy really think that he was so damn 'all that and a bag of chips' that he could intimidate a group of teenagers? In 2015? Or did he have some sort of brain fart and think it was the 1950's?
Thanks from Camelot

True, but that's not what I'm thinking about.

Living in the south, I've met a lot of men with big egos. But seriously? What the hell is wrong with a grown man who thinks he has that kind of authority?

Was his keeper not looking?

a year long ban for trying to teach kids respect and manners??? and we wonder why kids don't give a damn... kudos to the dad for trying and the principal who banned him is an asshole.

Cat, There can be a lot of things that could explain his actions

Maybe he had a father or a son or daughter that was a war vet that passed recently just as an example, and he took it more to heart.

A lot of times when you see people upset, there are things in their lives that have and effect

I agree. When I cleared customs after my first comprehensive bizz trip throughout the Middle East...I cooked up some pork chops with a few beers...and brought up a YouTube "Star Spangled Banner".

you are a good pig eating, beer drinking American!

my dad use to take me to minor league baseball games when I was a kid (Indianapolis Indians) and they always had someone sing the national anthem. if I had not stood there respectfully with my right hand over my heart I would have got my ears boxed.

and when I was in grade school we started the day standing with our right hand over our heart saying the pledge of allegiance. if our teacher detected so much as a snicker, the guilty party was off to the principal's office to learn some respect. 1 time was usually all it took...

I wonder if any elementary schools even say the pledge anymore?

NONSENSE !! I am a season ticket Browns "customer". I make it a point to time things so that I arrive after the National Anthem. Pro sports is a cold hard business. Tickets, parking, food and even $10 12 ounce beers makes it a cold hard business. They exploit the National Anthem in the context of running a cold, hard business I've always resented that.

I don't care where it is played, it should be shown respect.
Thanks from Tony and kbear
