That's what I thought. But it sort of contradicts the "age of reason" concept.

http://www.stmarkchurch-catonsville....Guidelines.pdf

This is a very detailed rendition of the Catholic rite involving infants

It does not contradict. A person can go unbaptized until after the age of reason and then be baptized. But the Church recommends Baptism as soon as possible to wash away Original Sin.

The concept of age of reason is only for those not baptized before that age. Then not only is their Original Sin washed away but so are all their other sins since they reached the age of reason.

I don't believe a god exists so I'm not expecting, desiring or needing any evidence that he does.

However, if I do get such evidence I'm more than willing to look at it and see if it's convincing.

So far your "god" is O for a TON

So all I need to do to have my "Original Sin" washed away is get someone to sprinkle some water on my head. Whether I believe in god or not is irrelevant?

I am sure God is working overtime to accommodate your demands of evidence on your terms so you can consider the convincibility the evidence.

If God is zero, then why are you unable to refute the evidence? It seems that you are batting zero based on evidence.

I'm sure god isn't doing anything about my demands for evidence.

Either because he doesn't exist or he's psychopath.

In either case he's not someone worthy of worship.

I was baptized when I was a child.
The idea a child has to be cleansed of sin sounds silly. (What did the child do, poop his/her pants).
Ideas like this create ammo for the non-believers.
