I love your little chart there

2 problems which shows you are a blithering idiot.

1 you FORGOT the Obama era.. (that is not the big mistake you made because it showed you tried to cherrypick data in your stupidity)

You chart great you just proved a point I have been making since I entered this forum,

Debt can only be created by CONGRESS.

THE PERIOD OF TIME YOUR CHART COVERS how much debt was created when Democrats controlled BOTH HOUSES of congress. (The period you have posted DEMOCRATS created 93+% of the debt creatation)

THANKS FOR PLAYING

So if you hate deficits vote GOP.
Thanks from johnwk

You have once again proven you don't understand how wealth is created. But you do know and advocate how to confiscate and redistribute wealth from those who create it with your socialist income tax.

JWK

Just a teensy question. When you state this: I earned a profit by investing my money......??????????????

Are you making money..... from.....money?

You apparently have a reading comprehension problem. Read what I stated very, very slowely. It answers your question.

JWK

There is no better way to weaken, destroy and subjugate a prosperous and freedom loving country than by importing the world’s poverty stricken populations into that country.

TN being TN

He points out “2 Problems” with the chart.

1. It leaves out Obama.
2. Only Congress can create debt.

And who controlled Congress during the Obama years? Damn, from 2010 to 2016 the REPUBLICANS controlled the House where all spending bills must originate

In short TN wants to blame the debt on Democrat Presidents and if a Republican is President he wants to blame a Democrat controlled Congress. A classic “Heads I win, tails you lose” scenario.

If you look at the deficit, year to year, it goes up, it goes down, and the correlation between it going up and going down with the party in control of congress is around 50%.

Whereas the correlation between the deficit going up or down correlates over 90% with the party that controls the White House.

Most of the time a Democrat is in the White House, the deficit goes down, most of the time a Republican is in the White House, the deficit rises.

No such correlation exists between control of congress and the direction of the deficit.

The worst period of deficit spending followed the GWH Bush tax INCREASES. Until the Obama era Deficits
My chart CLEARLY SHOWS THAT IS A LIE !!!!!!!!

FY 2009 - $1.16 trillion. ($1.413 trillion minus $253 billion from Obama's Stimulus Act)

FY 2006 - $248 billion.
FY 2005 - $318 billion.
FY 2004 - $413 billion.
FY 2003 - $378 billion.
FY 2002 - $158 billion.

President Bill Clinton: Total = $63 billion surplus, a 1 percent decrease.

FY 2001 - $128 billion surplus. This is where W cut the taxes and look at what happened to deficits
FY 2000 - $236 billion surplus.
FY 1999 - $126 billion surplus.
FY 1998 - $69 billion surplus. Cap gains cut. Deficits CONTINUE to shrink.
FY 1997 - $22 billion. Shrinking deficit
FY 1996 - $107 billion. Shrinking deficit
FY 1995 - $164 billion. Shrinking deficit
FY 1994 - $203 billion. Shrinking deficit

President George H.W. Bush: Total = $1.036 trillion, a 36 percent increase.

FY 1993 - $255 billion. ANOTHER TAX INCREASE !!!!!!!!!

Then comes W. with his $2 trillion tax cut for those same millionaires, and the balanced budget goes out the window, along with the surplus.

Now we have a whole new set of nimrods that still think the same failed policies will produce different results. Which is ironic as hell considering the fact the tax cuts is the main contributor to both the debt and the deficit.

That is not true your chart does is based on a CBO PROJECTION not actual revenue collections.

you see the CBO projected a DECLINE in revenue, But instead Revenue collection INCREASED by 75%

Strange your Graph was printed in 2008projection of debt, and you are claiming it as fact in 2019...

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrsssssssssssssssssssssssssss your sign.

oops.
