Newly Elected Governor Strips Voting Rights Lowers Minimum Wage

Quote:
Bevinís move Tuesday night goes against promises he made during the campaign to keep the restoration of voting rights in place. He even told reporters in November that he would stand up to his own party on the issue and convince them it was the right thing to do.

In another executive order this week, Bevin reversed former Gov. Beshearís move to raise the stateís minimum wage for government workers and contractors to $10.10 an hour, bringing it back down to $7.25 an hour.

The lower minimum wage does not affect those that have already received the increase. The felony voting issue affects only those who have not been convicted of violent crimes, sex crimes, bribery or treason. It does not affect felons who complete all the terms of their sentences, including probation, restitution, and do not have any pending criminal charges or arrests.

Those who had violent crimes were NOT included in the voting. It means to knock out everything done. And the lower minimum wage affects EVERYONE. You really support this fascist move, don't you?

Actually, the people of Kentucky deserve this idiot for voting him into office. The people of Kansas are certainly paying the price for electing Brownback. This is the only way that they will learn.

You're funny! You said: "... they will learn."

Actually it looks as though less than a third of the voters even turned out to vote. That's hardly a mandate for a fascist overhaul of the State constitution by redefining separation of powers. If he pisses off that other 2/3rds of the people in Kentucky, maybe they WILL recall him. Or at least throw him out in the next election.

Learn from their mistakes? People tend NOT to do that.
