Is This Why Trump Thinks Putin Is A Great Leader ?

The following link shows two people placing a bomb under a anti-Putin journalists car. The journalist was blown up and killed. Is this why Trump admires Putin ? Is it smart to say that you might not honor our NATO obligations with a nut like Putin chomping at the bit ? (A must see video folks)

Here, let's get this out of the way: Democratic Underground?? You've got to be kidding.

OK.

Imagine, say, Bernie Sanders talking about how "effective" a leader he thinks Putin to be. It would have sealed the deal.

Bernie's a communist.

Well, let's just hope and PRAY that Trump doesn't start taking his shirt off and riding around on a horse. That would be too gross for words. ICK.

Trump says he admires Putin's strength. He said the same about Saddam and the lovely leader of North Korea. The guy is bonkers and everybody knows it.

Yeah...well, that's JUST SCARY! You know...WHAT is it about the word 'strength' that people don't get. Or maybe I should say some MEN don't get.
We all know inspiring people who have endured and survived unbelievable events, NOT because they were strong in the physical way, but had an inner strength--a quiet, deep-seated determination. Our heroes are rarely people who rule like dictators--who boast about their accomplishments--who put people down. They are people we truly admire. They are the people like Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Pope Francis, Malala, Holocaust survivors, Nelson Mandela, Mother Theresa.......
Personally I think inner strength is courage and resilience. It's a certain integrity and the ability to do the RIGHT thing when it's not the popular thing to do. I think it's the ability to think for yourself and make a difficult decision...but it's also the ability and determination to survive. It's knowing what suffering is and the ability to walk in someone else's shoes. It's making positive contributions to our world.
Strength is having hope where hope was once lost and holding onto faith even through the darkest of times. It’s about finding the strength to move forward and leave your past behind, but never forgetting how you got to where you are in this moment in time. It’s about taking each experience, the good and the bad, and learning a valuable lesson from it. There are all kinds of strength, but having money and power is not strength--being a tyrant is not strength--having total control without any constraints has nothing to do with strength.
Sorry....on my soapbox again.

It's not just his remarks, look at Trump's actions. Look at the "Establishment" lobbying ties. Do you support this ?

Why Russia Is Rejoicing Over Trump

Letter From Moscow

Dropping threatening language from the GOP platform is just the sort of bonus Moscow expects from its man Donald.

MOSCOW—Excited by Donald Trump’s pledge to promote “easing of tensions and improved relations with Russia,” the Kremlin establishment earlier this month invited Trump adviser Carter Page to speak before graduating students of the New Economic School. Page did not disappoint. In his remarks, Page condemned current American policy for its “often-hypocritical focus on democratization, inequality, corruption and regime change.” When a Russian student asked Page whether he really believed that American society was liberal and democratic, Trump’s adviser grinned and delivered a line that might have come from Vladimir Putin himself. “I surround the word ‘liberal’ with quotes,” he said. ”I tend to agree with you that it’s not always as liberal as it may seem,” he said. “I’m with you.”

It was thus perfectly in keeping with Trump campaign’s entente with the Kremlin that last week Trump aides reportedly watered down the new Republican platform on Russia, removing language that called for giving weapons to Ukraine to fight Russian and rebel forces. Page, an energy expert, has close ties to Russian business and relationships with executives at Gazprom, the giant state-run gas company. Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort has worked as a lobbyist for former Ukraine’s former Russia-aligned president, Viktor Yanukovych.
