The Trump-Putin Connection That Wasn't

This from the left.

Quote:

Accusations of Russian hacking and election-meddling exist in the context of a broader narrative: that Donald Trump's campaign is endorsed by--perhaps even puppeteered by--Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin. It's a sensational story that the press, egged on by the Clinton campaign, has been unable to resist, despite the fact that evidence of any such connection (as the New York Times revealed this week) is seriously lacking.

James Carden, a contributor to The Nation and executive editor of the American Committee for East-West Accord's EastWestAccord.com, has been distressed by the press's credulity when it comes to the Trump-Russia connection. But he believes that this shoddy coverage is just one example of the press's blind spot while covering Russia, or any other country that the US views as an adversary. He speaks with Bob about why skepticism is most necessary in moments like these.

Everyone, quiet! I think Nwolfe may have something to say that is pertinent to this thread.

Putin favors Trump. His propaganda machine - the Kremlin's "news" outlets - has convinced most Russians to support Trump, because "he's for Russia" I heard numerous Russians say yesterday on Russia 1, the state TV news channel that everyone watches ... and believes unquestioningly.

Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, a Trump adviser, frequently appears on Russia Today. Paul Manafort worked with Kremlin stooge the former Ukrainian president Victor Yanukovych. And please don't vomit up the "popularly elected" Yanukovych because he ran for president on Ukraine's becoming a member of the EU, and then "changed his mind" days before an EU meeting that was to be Ukraine's first step to becoming an EU member.

Sergei Ivanov, longtime Putin confidant, Putin's deputy when Putin headed the KGB, and Putin's chief of staff, opposed the email hacking orchestrated by Dimitri Peskov. Ivanov "resigned" in August and was replaced by a much younger no-name.

The Trump-Putin Connection That Wasn't ... is.

Why on earth would anyone in Russia "favor" Clinton?

This election directly effects the people of that nation. One candidate wants to murder them and one does not.

Sounds reasonable to me.

Oh, so you do take your nose out of Putin's ass every once in a while to post something ignorant.

Good boy.

Yeah, hell, Putin is rolling out his Satan missiles, definitely an EMP vehicle, and his Armada tanks just to be neighborly.

Plus, like Russia, the US government has been reminding Russia that the US is the only nation on earth that can turn Russia into radioactive dust.

Yeah, and that war-monger Hillary if elected will be:
  • Asking military generals to present a plan within 30 days to defeat and destroy ISIS, immediately after taking office
  • Asking Congress to eliminate the defense sequester
  • Building an active Army of about 540,000
  • Building a Marine Corps based on 36 battalions
  • Building a Navy nearing 350 surface ships and submarines
  • Building an Air Force of at least 1,200 fighter aircraft
  • A new "state-of-the-art" missile defense system
Warmongering bitch, no wonder the Russians want to see Trump elected. Oh wait, that's Trump's plan...........

Get real Sab. Reclaim your mind while you still can.

Trump's dirty tricks operative, Roger Stone, tweeted on August 21 that Podesta's emails had been hacked. Not even our intelligence agencies knew that. Trump hides his tax returns and Russian ties. Connect the dots people.
