‘Not my president’: Thousands protest Trump in rallies across the U.S.

This is horrible, truly. Yet, who's been saying this for eight years already?

‘Not my president’: Thousands protest Trump in rallies across the U.S.

Nationwide demonstrations against the election of Donald Trump spilled into a second night Thursday with thousands of protesters surrounding his buildings in New York and Chicago and clashing with supporters of the president-elect in some areas.

Condemning Trump's litany of crude comments about women and his attacks on immigrants, demonstrators marched along city streets, blocked intersections, burned effigies and, in some places, gathered outside buildings bearing Trump's name.

“Not my president,” chanted some of the protesters, while others waved signs with the same message.

I will repeat that chant UNTIL Trump has proven himself. If and when that time comes---IF Trump brings back jobs, negotiates better trade agreements/NATO/other deals---IF Trump speaks and acts like an adult---IF Trump STOPS his disgraceful tweets and rants---IF Trump even attempts to act presidential, I will consider him my president.
I am not a grudge-holder by nature, but people need to prove themselves. They need to show SOME tolerance--some kindness--some caution. I'm not sure if Trump is capable of those things. After 18 months of racist, misogynist, hateful rhetoric, I'm not sure if he can act presidential.
HE'S starting with many black marks. UGH! This is tough.

Apparently THAT'S what makes Obama 'ineffective' and 'weak' in THEIR eyes. Astounding.

The truth is we really don't care what all of these little snowflakes are crying about, they should however think twice about any violence they might be considering.

For a little bit I thought Obama and Sanders should make a national speech or something to try to quell it. Then I pondered something else. I live in rural America. I do not live in a city. My political views are total opposite of any urban vote I have ever seen. So, now that I think about it. Riot away. Burn it down. Destroy it. Kill each other. Have fun. Knock yourself out. Its your house. I do not care.
