Trump Poised To Violate Constitution His First Day In Office

The Constitution’s “Emoluments Clause,” provides that “no person holding any office of profit or trust under” the United States “shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.”

IMPEACH TRUMP!! Orange Jumpsuit/Orange Hair! Dump Trump in the Slammer!

Yep. There's already a petition and although we can't make a 'citizens' arrest/impeachment' but even before Donald Trump was officially declared the winner of the 2016 presidential election, thousands of people were looking at what it would take them to remove him. Independent reported that Google searches for “how to impeach a president” jumped by 5,000 percent in the hours after the presidential election results were announced.

After you stop laughing, tell me about the clause and what it means. But start with its intent by Pinkney, who introduced it, and its carry over meaning from the Articles of Confederation with the two alterations.

I liked the 'knife fight' over the transition the best to date. The MSM ran with that one. People laughed.
