PM Zoolander broken up over death of Castro

More evidence of the canary in the coal mine that is Canada.

Quote:
.In his statement, Trudeau expressed “deep sorrow” after learning of “the death of Cuba’s longest serving president.”

“Fidel Castro was a larger than life leader who served his people for almost half a century. A legendary revolutionary and orator, Mr. Castro made significant improvements to the education and healthcare of his island nation.”

“While a controversial figure, both Mr. Castro’s supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for ‘el Comandante’.”

He basically said the same thing that the majority of world leaders said about it. The US just has some kind of irrational hate-on for Cuba.

With Raul's start at liberalization and Obama's lessening of the embargo, I thought things would be on a track to normalization but the PGIC has to do his thing.

Like who? The heathen Pope? The only reaction that I care about is the reaction of those who managed to escape Castro's rule, and theirs was quite jubilant. You're just a pathetic leaf that licks the boots of his PM, who's probably the biggest cuck in modern politics.

And irrational hatred? Are you serious? Are you seriously defending Castro? Why am I not surprised that this post is from
A
FUCKING
LEAF

Your country should be ethnically cleansed and recolonized by the United States.

Castro opposed aparthied in South Africa, that the US supported, and sent troops to that end to back up that support.

Another ugly skeleton in the closet of the US government that isn't talked about.

When you couple that with the fact that Castro single handedly halted the capitalist takeover of the island by some of the mafias most infamous mob figures, with CIA support in certain cases. That hate isn't irrational, it's trumped up bullshit, that our government has a long history of using to deflect away from some of it's sordid and seemly history.

Ever wonder after all of the time that has passed why we have done nothing more than impose economic sanctions against a government that took decisive actions to launch nuclear weapons against us?

Castro was indeed a murderer. But compared to us, he was a rank amateur.

I largely concurr with this but I will take exception with your statement that Castro took decisive actions to launch nuclear weapons against you. He did allow the Soviet Union to install nuke equipped missiles. But you at the time had much of the Soviet Union ringed with the same thing.

Why was that OK and but not for them?
Thanks from Sabcat

Putin is a damned murderer, but that hasn't seemed to have affected the Trump/RW love affair with him.
Thanks from skews13 and Hollywood

I'm STILL waiting for any DTT Patriot to point out a Central American or Caribbean "capitalist" nation that is doing as well or better than Cuba. It's been a long wait btw.
