I have a feeling this is just the beginning. AND I think if Clinton had won we'd be seeing the same thing.
Well your wrong. Start digging up all the right wing violent protests in the last 4 years, and I will do the same for the left wing. Lets be honest though, there has been no right wing riots, but I got tons of media coverage of burnings, rioting and violence by the left. Personally I do not care if they burn down their cities. Burn em to the fucking ground. Bring that shit out to rural America though. Your fucking leftist thugs will be praying for the National Guard to save their sorry asses then

No, no riots when Mr Obama was elected twice and Mrs Clinton would be treated the same. Your wisdom is projection to fill a false narrative.

Scares me to think you had a hand in shaping our youth with this kind of statement.

It seems as though most who are of the liberal persuasion are missing the point, protest is one thing, violent rioting another, and the assault on this young girl just because she has a different view is appalling, and shameful. In my view defending it is also.

No one is missing the point. I am pointing out the obvious. This was a contentious election. The popular vote and EC were at odds. The president's approval rating is in the basement. We the people are not happy campers. In cases like this, historically one side or another protests. Sometimes it's peaceful. Sometimes it's violent. I have never condoned violence and I'm not starting now. Maybe YOU are missing the point. Trump rallies were violent. Trump supporters claimed they wanted a revolution. Some DTT posters were thrilled at the prospect and now they (you) seem surprised that there are violent protests. You might as well get used to it because Trump is an extremely controversial POTUS.
When I want to protest, I call or email my lawmakers: John McCain and Jeff Flake. They are practically on my speed dial.

Uh....excuse me?? NO RIOTS after Obama was elected?? Have you been out of the country for the last 8 years?? Try these on for size:

Conservatives forget history in discrediting Trump protesters | TheHill

Kaylon Johnson, an African American campaign worker for Obama, was physically assaulted for wearing an Obama T-shirt in Louisiana following the 2008 election. The three white male attackers shouted “Fuck Obama!” and “Nigger president!” as they broke Johnson’s nose and fractured his eye-socket, requiring surgery.

Obama’s presidency was marked by effigies of our first black president hanging from nooses across the country, for example in Kentucky, Washington State, and Maine, or being burned around the world. What Trump supporters fail to remember is that following Obama’s election, property was destroyed across the country, for example in Pennsylvania, Texas, and North Carolina, and a predominately black church was torched in Massachusetts.

Orcinus: When Obama Was Elected: An Outpouring of Hate in 2008

Like the noose strung in protest from a tree limb in Texas. Students at Baylor University in Waco discovered the noose hanging from a campus tree the evening of Election Day, near a site where angry Republican students had gathered a bunch of Obama yard signs and burned them in a big bonfire. That same evening, a riot nearly broke out when Obama supporters, chanting the new president’s name, were confronted by white students outside a residence hall who told them: “Any nigger who walks by Penland (Hall), we're going to kick their ass, we're going to jump him." The Obama supporters stopped and responded, "Excuse me?" Somehow they managed to keep the confrontation confined to a mere shouting match until police arrived and broke things up.
.... spray-painting such fun-loving messages about Obama as “Let's shoot that Nigger in the head” and “Hang Obama by a noose.” The N.C. State administration was so upset by this behavior that it protected the students’ identities and refused to take any legal action against them or discipline them at all.....

Yeah I do not see any personal property being destroyed. I do not see the police in riot gear trying to clear blocked streets. I see effigy's being burned. I see things that disagree with your political points. I see nothing that indicates a riot. Let me show you an example of a leftist riot. Notice in your example no one is burning cars, no one is destroying property. See the difference. You got mad because the images you found people did things you do not like. They had an opinion you did not like. But, they was not destroying other peoples property was they. I can show you plenty of violence from anti-trump supporters. Plenty of it. You can find some violence to. Ironically you will find this all at Trump rallies though. You cant find examples of Trump supporters going to Bernie rallies or Clinton rallies causing problems. But for whatever reason, your team felt it was its duty to show up to Trump rallies and block roads, and harass, and attempt to silence. Pathetic.

However people often misunderstand the "free speech" thing.

The first amendment says the GOVERNMENT can't stop you from expressing your opinion. The police can't come arrest you for saying something nasty about a member of government, including the police.

But, call your boss an asshole and you will get fired. The government can't stop you from speaking freely, but that doesn't mean there aren't consequences.

This whole thing smacks of a publicity stunt. An exceedingly polarizing and controversial speaker picks THE one place where his visit would be extremely unpopular to speak. Then suddenly the "anarchist" show up all dressed in black, wearing masks and back packs ?? HOW did they know they were anarchist ??? Did they interview one ??

It's all just entirely too cliche'.
Waaaaaaaaay too cliché.

So once again we are to follow your logic and MEASURE violence and hate. It's not so bad when PEOPLE are attacked, bullied, tormented, verbally assaulted??? We shouldn't mind black effigies hung and burned? Or the KKK marching around waving guns and American flags?? Or Muslim women having their hijab stripped off? Black churches burned down? How about arsonists in Forsyth County, Georgia, set fire to the home of a woman who was known as a public supporter of Obama. Someone painted a racial slur on her fence, along with the warning, “Your black boy will die.” The Southern Poverty Law Center counted more than 200 “hate-related” incidents around the election and inauguration of Barack Obama as the nation’s first African-American president.
But.....that's okay?? Let's face it. You never paid a bit of attention to the riots/protests/hate crimes enacted after Obama's election, but you SURE are concerned now. HYPOCRITE.
