And that is the very definition of the plantation mindset.

What tax breaks?

If you understood Obamacare, you would understand the difference between "coverage” and “care.”

Trumpcare is really a tax break for the rich, not a health-care program,” said Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) at a Thursday morning news conference outside the Capitol. “They talk like populists but act for wealthy interests.”
[Analysis: The massive tax cuts for the rich inside the GOP health-care plan]
Flanked by 10 people who credited the Affordable Care Act with their coverage, Schumer and other members of the Democratic caucus repeatedly criticized the AHCA for its tax provisions, which would disproportionately benefit the wealthy. It would eliminate, for example, the*net investment income tax of 3.8 percent on investments, a tax designed only to affect people in the top two tax brackets, and the*0.9 percent Additional Medicare Tax, which also affects only top earners.
“If you’re a millionaire, you’re going to get an average $50,000 tax cut,” said Sen. Chris Van Hollen (Md.), the chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. “It’s great for the Trump Cabinet.”

There are no tax breaks in the Republican plan. Eliminating taxes that should not be there and have never existed is not a tax break.

on the bright side the god fearing citizenry can no longer blame bad emergency care on illegals crowding the ER.
Hopefully, free health care in hospital emergency rooms will have swift end as well due to the US republican senators and representatives.

Everyone should pay for his or her healthcare, or if not productive enough to afford healthcare, to honorably die.

The bill is no longer being referred to as "TrumpCare", it's now called "RyanCare", and the bill and the speaker are going under the bus....

Seriously, Lyin' Ryan has been describing the GOP alternative since 2010 as "covering more people, lowering premiums and deductibles" just better across the board.
And when he finally has to put up or shut up, he lowers costs by pricing older citizens out of the mix.

And you know that meme about how many counties only have one insurer.
Those are rural counties, and the new bill makes providing insurance to rural counties particularly unattractive to insurers, so many if not most of those "single insurer" counties will become "zero insurer" counties, or at least "really high premium" counties.

That's if the bill passes, and while "TrumpCare" might have had a chance, naming the bill after Paul Ryan, a loser, big loser, didn't support Trump, means the bill is headed under the bus.

Actually, it has a new(er) name. It is now known as the Republican Insurance Plan.

or R.I.P.

After 7 years of claiming to have a plan that lowers premiums, covers everyone, lowers deductibles, they come out with a bill that kicks 24 million off health insurance and uses the savings for a huge tax cut for the wealthy.

And then they try to say, this is what everyone voted for.....

Ahh, no, they voted for lowering the cost and covering everyone, that's the plan you claimed to have, that's what they voted for.
Thanks from Daws77
