What do you think the world thinks

on seeing all the internal attacks against our recently elected President? Come on and be honest, as to if it a good thing or bad thing.....for our nation.

Most of the attacks are stupid. Therefore bad.

I can't speak of the world, but as far as I can see, the UK and Canada are generally just as critical.

They probably look at us with a bit of envy. In how many other countries can the citizens actively criticize and even mock the leader and not have to worry about personal repercussions?

Don't know. I reckon the world doesn't really care.

As to criticizing the president, I think it is a good thing when all parties apply it equally, and plus upon their own.

It becomes a bad thing though when it is applied unequally, as it has been for the last several decades, by a bunch of fanboys preaching to the already converted and damning the apostates with mockery and hell fire.

The US isn't in a healthy state right now.

Agree... we are not in a healthy state right now. IMO, a lot of that is because the losing party will not accept the results of our last election. From towns to counties to states the people voted and they elected Trump and those that supported him. I have never seen a more concentrated effort to make our President look bad. Also, anyone who thinks many nations are not looking at this and wondering just what they can do to further diminish our standing in the world...do not live in the real world of today.
Thanks from Sabcat

Then we haven't been in a healthy state for many many years. There were quite a few Republicans who actively opposed the policies of Obama and didn't accept his leadership of our country, and I say that as a Republican. Before Obama, there were people who said Bush did not get rightfully elected and should not be supported.

Unfortunately, I have. Besides Trump, i've seen it done to Obama, Bush jr., Clinton, Bush Sr., and Regan. Carter's presidency ended when I was eight, so I dunno... But I reckon him and Ford as well. Nixon, so Ive read everyone was on the same page. A rarity.
Thanks from Sabcat

nice point.

we can, and do, all the time, in australia. political satire and mockery is a grand tradition.

and its not new to trump. look at what obama faced. or bush, reagan, etc.
