Ooooh La La....this is getting good. One of my favorite phrases has popped up:

Follow the money!!

AND that's exactly what happened today. Investigators on the House intelligence committees have obtained access to valuable data from the Treasury Department, a development that will open their doors to investigate possible connections between President Donald Trump's business empire and Russians, CNN has learned.

Investigators received access to the financial data this week, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the development.
Sen. Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate intelligence committee told reporters Thursday that his committee also had gotten the Treasury Department data.
The Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network -- or FinCEN -- monitors global financing and frequently investigates money laundering. The agency collects data from banks around the world and is a critical source in identifying how shell companies move money.
Warner grilled Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin Thursday on Treasury's continued cooperation with the Senate probe. Earlier in the week, Warner questioned Trump's nominee to oversee FinCEN at the Treasury Department, Sigal Mandelker. Warner, in his testimony, referenced a May 4 meeting at his office with Mandelker.

No. He's selling, and he's not good at it.

The AM talkradio clowns, Breitbart, and Alex Jones are not MSM, and will never be accepted as such. And Fox has lost credibility, which is amazing considering it never had any except amongst the lily white faithful just clinging to the good ol' days.

All of those listed above are the drive by media, and the make up of their audience, which includes the marketing genius that submitted this post.

There are no statutes involved. The applicable statutes would be used if a law was broken. There is no statutes prohibiting communicating with Russian officials. Prosecutors investigate potential criminal activity, not civil activity.

What I said though is what statutes would be involved in any collusion re: the election. The only criminality that could be here may involve Flynn and some disclosures that he failed to make. Otherwise we have seen nothing that implicates the President in any violation of any statute.

The Landmark Legal Foundation went to the FISA Court seeking that court to look into the leaks, long story short, the judge said that there was no issue regarding this in front of the court when she handed down her decision denying. IOW, the national security matter had run its course, the Democrats knew this, thus took another tack in teir coup attempt.

There are several statutes. Not knowing what exactly happened, I would guess 18 U.S. Code Chapter 29 - ELECTIONS AND POLITICAL ACTIVITIES.

Fox has lost so much credibility that MSNBC has announced they will be moving to the right as direct competition with Fox. They're already fired Lawrence - apparently they're keeping Maddow for now (they'd be crazy not to - she's their highest rater) - but expect to see a lot more right wing bullshit coming from their to compensate for the joke that Fox has become.
Thanks from Clara007

What is really needed is special counsel for the unmasking, and for the leaks. What is wrong with these people?

Are you new to the U.S.?? Informants are as old as dirt and NOW it's all done digitally. It's almost impossible to detect who's transmitting the data. Info can be sent from a burner phone, from a throw-a-way laptop, from a DVD or from a flash drive with no way to determine who sent it. Check out something called Secure Drop.
I also heard that APPLE is developing technology that will prohibit anyone (except the owner)--this includes APPLE--from opening the iPhone via pass code. Android phones will follow suit.
As technology explodes it will become almost impossible to trace leaks.
