Obvious to anyone that you have ignored all the VA horror stories. More than obvious.

And single-payer is a mess in Britain, and Canada. But so long as government controls it you are for it. We got it.

At half the cost.

Back that up with a link.

Here's my link saying otherwise.

I can't imagine what you mean. The tories want to give everything to CEOs, but the NHS is hugely better and more efficient than your rubbishy spite-machine. Wonderful to see the baby-killers ranting on about keeping a brain-dead baby alive to be taken over there and experimented on!

Most pundits say that Trumpcare will die. They also say that the ACA will not be repealed.

So you will end up with a health care system being administered by a group that hates it.

What could possibly go wrong?

After all is said and done we WILL end up with Obamacare--tweaked, retooled, retrofitted, but Obamacare. I have no problem with that and in fact, most of us suggested it years ago.
The American people have voted for the GOP to GOVERN and they can't. They simply don't have a cohesive party. They are so divided that NOW they're going to depend on the Democrats to bale them out.

I wonder what the voters will have to say in 2018? Oh, that's right. Russia will be running that mid-term election. No worries.

First of all, there is no such thing as perfect healthcare coverage. Secondly, Goober said everyone WANTS affordable healthcare, which is true. Thirdly, YES. WE've all heard the VA horror stories and that has nothing to do with ACA or the latest plan from the GOP Senate.
The Affordable Care Act doesn’t create a government-run system, in which the government provides health insurance, or care, to residents. It does expand Medicaid, and also boosts business for private insurers, by about 12 million customers over the next decade, and leaves intact work-based insurance on which most Americans have long relied.
We are talking about a relatively small percentage of Americans who do NOT receive healthcare through an employer. Healthcare insurance will continue to rise for EVERYONE. No matter which plan finally emerges, costs will go up, so it is no longer a valid argument to use againt ACA.

Insurance companies are NOW and have always been cash cows, whose CEO's thrive in their 1% havens. That's not going to change.

As if there aren't horror stories from highly paid 'luxury' medical care.

Exactly!

As they should - I don't expect high level executives in Fortune 500 companies to make 100k a year. It's not realistic. But, they should be able to survive in America on 10million a year instead of 14million a year and give more people better health care with the difference.
Thanks from Clara007

We will end up with Obamacare for all? Only a small percentage receive their coverage from Obamacare now.

Obamacare increased the cost of health care for everyone in America, we need something that reduces the cost of health care.

With public health care you will still have that, it will be just like public education.

Affluent areas will have great public health care and it will be substandard in the inner cities.

I didn't say Obamacare for all. I said Obamacare (ACA) is what we are going to end up with.

I also said healthcare costs/insurance will continue to rise, whether it's Obamacare or Trumpcare. There will be NO reduction in the cost of healthcare as long as the medical, insurance, pharma companies have lobbies.
