You can also explain how someone can be convicted of murder for a parking ticket.
Why don't you just STFU and try and stay on topic for once?

Campaigns regularly pay people to dig up dirt on their opponents. So if this woman was offering dirt on Hillary it would be considered "something of value" since campaigns regularly pay for such information.

No one ever said Trump Jr. offered to pay this woman for the information.
No it would not under the law.

You brought that up. You should heed your own advice.

Wrong. Statutory construction is your friend. It is as I said it is.

The implication is, she is a Russian operative. If so, why didn't Obimbo's DOJ vet her? If she is not, then collusion between Russia and Trump doesn't exist. If the "intent" was solely for finding dirt on Hillary, what's wrong with that? Both sides do it. In order for it to be unlawful intent some form of gratuity had to be offered. Since none was offered, unlawful intent does not exist.

It is pretty easy your entire "case" is based on assigning value to something that does not hold any value.

That is ridiculous.

Good luck w/ that.

Even Trump-hating CNN couldn't figure out how to spin this Donald Trump Jr event into something illegal, but that doesn't stop the TD suffering idiots here from trying.

Paul Callan, CNN legal analyst:

Meeting Russians for dirt on Clinton? It may be immoral but it's not illegal (Opinion) - CNN.com

No I didn't

I have been very clear that there is no indication that Trump Jr was attempting to "buy" anything.
