Then dammit, let "Japan to Russia" take the lead for once.

Russia and China voted for tougher sanctions on NK exactly because each knew the heavy lifting would fall on the US, and more, that a preemptive strike would further divide the US.

The sound of clinking glasses resonated in Moscow and Beijing after Trump's "diplomatic coup."

The right wingers seem to forget that their dear leader said the following in May;

Quote:
If it would be appropriate for me to meet with him, I would absolutely, I would be honored to do it, Trump told Bloomberg News in a Monday interview. If its under the, again, under the right circumstances. But I would do that.

Yes, but that was in May. It's August. Trump can't be held to what he said in May.

He said that in May. It's now August and his poll numbers are in the crapper. See the OP.

Polls?? Pay no attention to polls, Wolfe. Alternative facts. Fake news.
Polls were wrong once or twice.

More than one person carries the 'football' (nuke codes) including more than a few flag officers. The football is a black satchel where flag officers also carry booze.

Let others take the lead when it's the U.S. that's being directly threatened?! That's the kind of Obimbo thinking that got us in this mess in the first place.

Are the issues the same in August as they were in May? Was N. Korea threating a missal attack on Guam in May? Should Trump be held to what he said in May despite the new threat?
