Where in the fuck did I say ANYTHING about the looting of essentials?
Where in the fuck did I say high priced athletic shoes are essentials?

I assumed you people were talking about looting/stealing becaujse it was both immoral and illegal. Well, so is price gouging for essentials during a natural disaster but you boys don't seem at all concerned or interested in that.
There, is that phrased direct and simply enough for you people to grasp without fucking it up?
Because the thread was about looting not price gouging. Fucking trolls

What does price gouging have to do with looting?
Thanks from Sensible

The police are condemning them. They're posting pictures of these scumbags caught in the act of looting.

Both are against the law but RW appear to be only concerned with a certain subset of law breakers.

A person could excuse stealing essentials. Liquor, athletic shoes, and cameras are not essential. What you did do is try to distract from the issue. Which is about all you do.

The authorities have already stated that they will be going after the gougers. That is a dead issue. The issue of looting which happens after every event of this nature has to be dealt with in harsher terms.

You don't think the RW does its share of "distracting"? Someone starts a thread about the latest idiotic tweet from Trump and 9 times out of 10 the first RW response is going to be about Clinton or Obama. Neither side is willing to even admit to the idiocy or gross incompetency of the people on "their side" so they'll bring up something about the other side.
Thanks from catus felis and Hollywood

The authorities are going after the looters as well. Price gouging happens in every event like this as well. So why does looting have to be dealt with in harsher terms?

Because price gouging involves a choice of rather or not you agree to pay the price or not. Sure you can attempt to twist it around and say there is no choice in certain circumstances but its still a choice rather or not to pay or not. Tell me about the choice when it comes to looting?
Thanks from Sabcat and Sensible

The choice, in both cases, falls on those breaking the law. The price gouger and the looter both choose to break the law and yet the RW is only concerned about cracking down on the lawbreakers that tend to come from a lower socioeconomic status. People in that status tend to be minorities and business owners who price gouge tend to be white. Republicans are then surprised when people start to think that the GOP is a tad bit racist.
Thanks from RNG and catus felis
