At least 58 dead, more than 500 injured after shooting on Las Vegas Strip

Jesus.
I wake up to my morning news.

The horrific tragic events in Las Vegas - at this point 50 dead - over 200 wounded - worst mass shooting in U.S. history. And it's still being updated.

President of the United States "tweets" that the diplomat to North Korea should just stop wasting his time with them. Yeah. That's gonna help.

Grown woman arrested for having sex with 11 year old 'chronically depressed' boy.

I keep being reminded of the Eubie Blake song today ...

The news IS depressing. We seem to move from one mess to another and I can't imagine what it was like in Vegas. Horrific!

I wonder how long Tillerson is going to put up with Dotard?

Every one of you should be ashamed. Politicizing this as if any President or anyone but the shooter is responsible. Pierce Morgan already bringing up gun control. You do not care about the people involved, only what it will do politically for your party.

At least 50 dead, more than 400 injured after shooting on Las Vegas Strip

Little is known about the shooter, a 64-year old Caucasian male.

I take a deep breath every morning when I open my news page.

In April, my wife and I stayed and hung out in the immediate vicinity of this massacre.

Meanwhile, a bill - the “Hearing Protection Act" with 160 co-sponsors - to ease restrictions on gun silencers is before Congress.
At least 50 dead, more than 400 injured after shooting on Las Vegas Strip

A gunman in a high-rise hotel overlooking the Las Vegas Strip opened fire on a country music festival late Sunday, killing at least 50 people and injuring hundreds of others in the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history.

The gunman, identified by police as Stephen Paddock, was later found dead by officers on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said during a news briefing....

Lombardo said “over 50” were killed in this latest shooting rampage, though that toll could rise, as he noted that police were still investigating the scene. Police also said an estimated 406 people were taken to area hospitals after the shooting. Authorities did not specify how many of the people were wounded by gunfire or injured in the chaotic frenzy that followed.

Paddock, 64, was found dead in his hotel room by Las Vegas SWAT officers who responded to the call about the shooting, police said. They believe he took his own life.

...Police believe Paddock, a local resident, was a “lone wolf” attacker. Lombardo did not give further details, however, on Paddock’s background or possible motivation.

“We have no idea what his belief system was,” Lombardo said during a briefing. “Right now, we believe he was the sole aggressor and the scene is static.”

Recordings of the attack suggested that Paddock used an automatic weapon in the attack. He was found with more than 10 rifles, Lombardo said....

When this nut opened up on this innocent crowd 32 floors below, their rights were reduced to just one - the right to run for their lives.

Yes, Republicans are currently moving legislation through the House that would make gun silencers legal and armor piercing bullets more available while Roy Moore pulls a gun out on stage the other night to impress the right wing crazies.

Stick it in your ear.

Nobody is doing that.

Who blamed the dotard-in-chief for the mass shooting.

You're the ONLY person who has brought it up, trying to stir the pot and cause trouble.

Yes, this is not the time to talk about military grade weapons killing Americans by the dozen. (This message was brought to you by the NRA).
