Oh look.
Sabcat's contribution is nothing topical and solely personal attack.

No.

So, simple questions for you...
Was it illegal for the shop keep to kick them out?
In your opinion, should it be illegal for the shop keep to kick them out?

For you, yes.
For sabcat? Maybe
But the problem is your simplicity leads to inaccuracies. For example, BOTH of you inaccurately label other people's opinions.
Ergo, your "simplicity" is a problem. Not a benefit.

This would be an inaccurate assessment, as the baker acknowledged they had served the gay couple before.
Too many of you on the right assume other people's opinions, because it simplifies your world to make up stories rather than figure out the facts and truth for yourself.

It's a byproduct of a medical procedure.
I wouldn't go around showing the results / processes of other medical procedures either.

Do you think that's a magic phrase which excuses their actions?
Protects their actions?

The reality answer to both is NO. It isn't that.
They were practicing the tenets of their faith. They were witnessing their anti-abortion belief that is derived from their religion. Have a nice day

No, they were interfering with a man's business, creating a nuisance on private property, and (when refusing to leave when requested) trespassing.

No, they left when asked. They did not interfere in his business.

Too many right-wing Christians think their faith gives them a "get-out-of-legal issue free" card.
It doesn't.

The most amusing test would be to switch up the group from Christian => Muslim and watch the sudden abandonment behind protecting religion.

Just because you call it a "belief" does not mean it is religiously protected.
The key words you failed to account for is why did the store owner kick them out?
THAT is what matters to the laws on the books.

And he didn't do it because they were Christian. Ergo, he was within his rights.

No.
What I find is that some people refuse to listen the first time around. Or the second.
And then they need things explained more in depth.
#shrug

What I also find is that sometimes some people will do exactly what you did.
Abandon topical discussion to talk solely about another poster. Which is called ad hominem

And likewise, I could give a rat's ass about your opinion on my post length. I find that too often some people start whining about the length of the content when they can't deal with the content.

The difference being here is that I AM TALKING ABOUT THE EXISTING LAW, which means it is not just "my opinion".

They should do that in their cult temple.
But spreading their message of hate among the decent folk, that's creating a nuisance.
