Are you even listening to what I am saying?

I support the act being illegal.
I am addressing the content of the article.

What's going on is you don't want to talk about OTHER STATES which never had any such law in the first place. And you try to base that exclusion on whether or not your article mentions them...

It was a direct response to your complaint. You complained about: "We have laws against intentionally harming another perso"
I pointed out California is one state that has such a law that is relevant to this topic.
California is lessening the penalty, but it's still illegal. It's still a state that has "laws against intentionally harming another person", relevant to this topic.

If you can't recognize it's meaning, I can't waste my time trying to explain it to you...

I have long ago recognized when you start driving off topic for the corn field when you have nothing topical to offer.
Of course, doesn't really take much in the way of cognitive abilities to recognize that...

Sorry sweetie, you went off topic first talking about laws in other states.

CA had a law on the books and then they removed it. That is the topic not what laws are in other states. I know that staying on topic is difficult for you. I have faith...give it a shot.

If tomorrow CA decided to remove all firearm restrictions we would be having the same conversation just about a different set of laws.

Why do you support this change in law?

It's amusing how you say that and not appreciate it identifies precisely that your interest is purely partisan.

HOW can you still fail to not see your error after it has been pointed out to you repeatedly?
They DID NOT remove the law from their books.
They LOWERED THE CLASSIFICATION, but it's still on the books. It's no longer a felony, but rather a misdemeanor.

Like I said, people trying to restrict this to solely California are only demonstrating they have no morality except what they want to apply to others...
Nebraska and Texas are actually guilty of what you complain about? You think that's irrelevant.
You falsely claim CA has removed it from the books? CA is the only thing you want to talk about...

First you screw up what CA is actually doing, even though I have tried to show you the error of your ways repeatedly. (Which again is more evidence that you don't read anything other people actually say...)

Then, you make a claim on my position...
Based on what exactly???
I HAVE ALREADY REPEATEDLY said I think that such a law should exist. Repeatedly in just replying to you. And that was when you were (probably still are) failing to comprehend the law is still on the books

QUOTE ME where I said I support this change in law!

So i misspoke in my last post...sorry.

If you dont support this law change then i have no idea why or what your are arguing about. Generally in a debate you take one of two positions, affirmative and negative.

"i [sic] misspoke...."

"i [sic] have no idea...."

Sure.

All trolling, all of the time. Sad.

In one of those states it's like, "Oooops, I shoulda told ya I got HIV...."

Reporting on this is news. Cherry picking on California is propaganda.

When you quote an entire article, its not cherry picking. At all

What the hell. I apologize

They dropped it down to a misdemeanor... basically a traffic ticket. It does not change my position or my posts untill the last one where i said they dropped the law instead of not making it any more than a dui. Furthermore if we both have the same position on the law change then again i have no idea what we are arguing about.

I am starting to think that you don't know the basic concept of a debate.

A lot is unfolding today.

I know but you do it from a position of authority.
Thanks from guy39

As if no one pointed to the Hepatitis A problem in third-world Mexifornia. Them passing this legislation is further evidence that they don't give a rats asp about anyone's health, but talk about it for raw power only.

So an article author can't cherry pick?

38% of our states have no law regarding a person withholding information on their HIV+ status from sex partners.
Does that mean states like Nebraska and Texas don't care about anyone's health?

Or maybe this is where somebody on the right will jump in and tell you that you're being non-topical for bringing up hepatitis A on a thread where the article only talks about HIV.
Nah. Can't expect that level of consistency from the right...

No. He wrote an article about California. Thats it. Not Penn. or Ohio, or Florida, or Texas or Hawaii etc. About California.
