What is it with Senator Corker..of VA..

he is not even running for re-election, so just how much does he really care about anything going on in DC? Seems he was ...not...given his desired job as Sect of State...so...maybe like Senator McCain... going through a ..."I deserved" and you "didn't" give me what I wanted? he voters want a new tax code, they voted to overturn Obamacare and to have secure borders. He is against all those things so how does he think "he" should a speaker for them????

All that Dotard-spewed bullshit has been refuted. But defend the fat disaster at all costs.
Thanks from Camelot and Clara007

The Dotard lost the popular vote. And I fully defend the senator for doing what is best for the country and not the party.

You mean what "he" thinks is best for the country and not the decision made by the country...yes under our Constitutional way of determining who wins an election? Ah yes, the mindset that says the all knowing, all wise "politician" knows what's best for us peons.

a) "the people"?
The largest plurality voted against Trump.
It's only due to the anti-democratic electoral college that Trump lost the vote, and won the election.

So for you to say "the people voted for", it was a minority of the people.

b) Just what is it YOU THINK they voted for?

- Maybe some of them voted for:
I'm gunna build a wall, and Mexico's going to pay for it.

Well guess what.
We've already got a wall.
Trump wants to build more wall.
And he wants YOU to pay for it.

Can you say "bait & switch"?

c) President Trump's popularity polling reportedly started out at historic lows, and has been wafting ever lower since then.

R #4 nailed it.
Most members of congress (MOC) can't do the impolitic thing, because it would hamstring their future legislative power.
Corker neutralized that issue; and so as R #4 indicates, is free to tell the truth, let the chips fall where they may.

Is there really any rational adult that knows something about it that actually believes Trump isn't off the rails?

Kudos to R #4.
Nailed it!

Senator Corker my Senator is not running he is going to lose the primary, for Blocking The Trump agenda. you are going to see several other Rino's and Dems resign for this reason. Blue Dog Dems will make a comeback this next election cycle as well as TEA Party type Republicans.

The senate is going to be making a sharp tact to the right next election.

Conservative Democrats and GOP will be elected.
Thanks from guy39
