Election in Virginia

I voted and I voted for the Libertarian for governor (which shouldnít surprise anyone who knows me). Then I did something Iíve never done before. I voted straight party line for Democrats. My brand of Libertarianism has tended towards Republican (itís the Religious Right that turns me off to the Republicans). But in this election I needed to send a message to the GOP that I refuse to support a party (at any level) that would put the likes of Trump in the White House. As long as the GOP continues to support Trump and his style of politics I will not vote for a Republican candidate.

I consider myself a Goldwater Republican. If Goldwater werenít already dead I honestly believe seeing Trump in the the White House as a Republican would kill him.
Thanks from imaginethat, skews13 and Camelot

Watching the returns now. Gillespie is losing Fairfax by 31 points.

Edit: It's done Big night for the Dems.

Footnote: The cosponser of the original bathroom bill got her ass handed to her.

The transgender candidate beats Bob Marshall. This is fucking huge.

The Trump backlash has begun.

LOL Yeah, Nwolfe is a "libertarian" who railed against people setting prices during a hurricane, and a few others nuggets.
Thanks from Sensible
