It is sad to see this used as a way to try and say the WH "lied" about having a meeting with Putin. Sanders said and it was true...no "formal meeting".

What else would you expect from the TDS on Steroids crowd. It has been a very successful trip, under-reported by the MSM. Remember when Obama went to China, and he had to exit Air Force One from the rear because no steps were provided for exiting the side door.

From the OP:
Trump and Putin met on the sidelines of the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders' Meeting in Vietnam.
Who, where, when did anyone say a formal meeting was had?

Dear TWS sufferer,

Xi used Trump, and he's not finished.

Implied...it was a formal meeting and there were none. Quote from Putin's press sect where he answers...as far as I know....well was he beside Putin during the "casual" meetings of the two leaders???

Was Putin....personally involved with any of the hacking? That is something one can consider when both men speak about Putin, himself....Putin says "I" was not...Trump never says that Russia did nothing, but that he believes Putin when Putin says..."I" was not involved. It all comes down to how one wants to interpret words spoken...and it can go more than one way...just saying...kinda like Bill Clinton and his oft repeated..."depends on what the meaning ...."

It ain't over.
This Russian interference may end up being of more severe impact than anything else done to the U.S. in the new millennium, including the attacks of 09/11/01.

For obvious examples:
Trump acting like he can undermine U.S. credibility abroad by simply breaking U.S. agreements like the seven party nuclear agreement with Iran, and our international climate change agreement.

It's taken centuries to build the U.S. reputation. And Trump has smashed it his first year in office.

Even a drunken Democrat isn't that stupid.
Progress is often eeked out tiny bit by tiny bit, so slowly that in real time it's hard to observe. But over decades, the progress is visible.

Tearing stuff down can happen in a flash, as we are watching.

Those who have Trump Worship Syndrome won't even hold their god to account. Instead, they engage the alternative facts version of reality and conjure alibis for his steady stream of egregious lies.

Word salad.

You said, quote: "This is miss leading...there was no formal meeting of the two."

I pointed out: From the OP:

Trump and Putin met on the sidelines of the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders' Meeting in Vietnam.

And you can't just say you were mistaken? This is what's ailing the US presently, people who just can't say, it ain't in their vocabulary: I made a mistake.
Thanks from Hollywood

Trump says Putin insulted by US election meddling claim - BBC News

Their earlier title for this story was words to the effect that Dotard trusts Putin more than his own intelligence agencies.
