I have only used this account on DTT. I have no reason to be a deceptive weasel. Total projection on your part.

This nicely sums things up;

Quote:

David Corn
@DavidCornDC

CIA chief Mike Pompeo: Putin attacked 2016 election.
DNI Dan Coats: Putin attacked 2016 election.
FBI director Christopher Wray: Putin attacked 2016 election.
NSA head Mike Rogers: Putin attacked 2016 election.
Putin: I did not attack 2016 election.
Trump: I believe Putin.

Thanks from Clara007

And, Hitler style, Putin "annexed" Crimea confiscating hundreds of billions of dollars of Ukrainian assets, including most of Ukraine's navy. with no compensation.

But now, despite all those hostile actions against a nation who's actually been an ally, you mock those who agree with Romney. Iow, when Romney saw the Russian threat, you agreed. When Obama saw the threat, you pooh-pooh the threat like the Ds did in 2012.

Iow, you're all over the place, taking political positions against the Ds out of convenience even if it means contradicting yourself.

But hey, you're a Trump supporter and Russian troll. Flip-flopping and hypocrisy are second nature for you.
Oh put a sock in it, Obama allowed Pootie to take Crimea despite the US having promised the Ukraine that if they gave up their Nukes we'd protect them. What a hypocrite you are. It IS however cute that you still play the Dem/Pub game. They all play the same game.

You would have supported Obama leading the U.S. into war with Russia to stop the Crimea invasion?
Yes or no, the Russian tanks are rolling do you stop them with force or not?

You said "ALLOWED" did you not?
Thanks from Camelot

IF someone is going to cry about Russia taking Crimea and does nothing to stop it one shouldn't whine about it. Yes, Obama ALLOWED Putin to take it.
Support a War? No, fight a war? Sometimes it's unavoidable, we made a promise to them and Obama reneged on it. We gave the Kurds our word and Bush reneged on it.

Had the Ukranian's held on to their weapons the tanks wouldn't have rolled at all.

"Obama allowed Pootie to take Crimea" Q
News Flash:
THE ENTIRE WORLD allowed Pootie to take Crimea.

It's a fundamental flaw in world view so common to liberals like you.
I'll dispel this deranged view that foreign events that displease YOU are automatically the duty of the United States military to reorder to your liking.
Perhaps AFTER you're inaugurated U.S. president we can have that conversation.
We're a long, long way from there.

Here's the 101 primer for you:
Quote:
"American people are friends of Liberty everywhere, but custodians only of their own." John Adams
Get it?!
If Crimea wants Russia out, you know, the way Afghanistan did; then Crimea can escort Russia to the border.
Quote:
"... despite the US having promised the Ukraine that if they gave up their Nukes we'd protect them." Q possible #23
When was the treaty signed?
What was the wording of this alleged promise?
Or was this just idle chatter by two guys in adjacent stalls in the men's room?

I vehemently oppose NATO expansion into former Soviet States, PRECISELY BECAUSE it merely feeds such Russian aggression.

But without a treaty obligation, upon what would President / Commander in Chief Quigley justify in international law going abroad to shed blood on foreign soil, to address the problem you seem to perceive?

You didn't answer his question. Try again.

And to that I add:
On what basis, what legal justification in international law could the U.S. justify such military action, which would almost surely result in bloodshed?

Ukraine, and Belarus and Kazakhstan, were sitting on some formidable nuclear arsenals. Ukraine's was the third largest in the world.

The idea, I suppose, was the world didn't need a bunch of new nuclear powers with the USSR's break-up.

The mood was optimistic. The Cold War was over. The Russians, henceforth, would be good guys.

Things don't always work out as planned.
