Bingo........The truth to a right winger is totally dependent on hypocrisy.

If I may be excused for offering a rocket scientist's perspective:

The missile NK launched almost surely did not have a warhead, or ballast equivalent aboard.
So the range of the missile does not necessarily equate to the range of NK's nuclear military capability.

Kim likes to pull the pickle and shout bird's away. That is a cool thing to do which boosts ego. When the bird takes off it is in boost and shorty later it is in sustainer. Old Fire Control Technician joke: When you pull the pickle the handle kicks back. Pulling the pickle means applying 48VDC to the squibs of the solid fuel rocket motor and away it goes at tremendous speed reaching 2000 mph in four seconds in boost and when in sustainer it is still accelerating. DTRM (dual thrust rocket motor).

edit: Bogie foxtrot five for Kim's missile.

WHOOOOP! There it is: THE RED LINE. AND this time the ball is in Trump's court.
Candidate Trump constantly attacked Barack Obama for drawing his red line on Syria’s chemical weapons — and for not following through when Syria crossed that line. But now? He has drawn a far brighter and more dangerous red line —“fire and fury”— than Obama ever did. AND how many times has little Kimmie crossed that red line? I've stopped counting.

But never fear. The Trump Translators will be crawling out from under their rocks any minute. This should be entertaining.

What the %$#@ $#@! )*&^%$#@ !!!

If you'll pardon my gratuitous Bushism:
The Republican capacity for inferring what is not implied is unlimitless!

Obama NEVER said:
it crosses a red line, so if it ever happens, I'll nuke Damascus.

NEVER !!

Obama's comment was: it crosses a red line.

That's completely different from Trump's multiple comments about NK.

It is Trump, not Obama that speaks of U.S. response, and acceptable / unacceptable limits.

It's Trump that's been at odds with his own Secretary of State, each taking opposite sides of the diplomacy option.

Tillerson might as well resign right now. Eventually, Trump and his translators will blame this whole NK thingy on Tillerson.

Wait and watch.

Monday morning quarterbacking is easier than shooting pickles from a barrel.

One cannot accurately assess the complications of effective public service until one has experience in the fray.

Even the most skillful of leaders transgress on occasion, however rare & minor it may be.

And in our comfortable society, it's easy if not natural to snicker at well publicized errors made by our elected officials.

BUT !!

Under President Trump's misbegotten "leadership" (if it can legitimately be called that) we may be fast careening toward cataclysm.

For all Trump's manifold virtues, he simply does not have presidential demeanor.

In the 18th century that was at worst a potential annoyance, an inconvenience.
In the 3rd millennium, it may spell the end of the human race.

What I've read of it indicates one U.S. Minuteman ICBM, ONE Minuteman, has more explosive power than all the munitions used in WWII by all sides, including the nukes dropped on Japan.

Putting Trump in charge may be the worst blunder in human history.

What in the fuck does the military need a budget increase for?
Is the U.S. military there to DEFEND the U.S. or take over and police the entire world?
