It takes someone being willfully myopic to not understand that this Nation's Political Class has been morally bankrupt forever. It is patently SILLY to blame it on "Republican's" when it is and has ALWAYS been done by nearly EVERYONE that makes any decisions at all over the masses.
Thanks from caconservative, Sabcat and Sensible

Really aren't there a few democrats stepping down because they have been actively participating in this "cesspool" for some time.

Damn that trump/putin. They are so clever. This was some serious 4D chess to get these guys elected years ago just to make the leftists look bad.

Epic.

What about the MESSAGE is it that is so wrong and inaccurate?

Please stop diverting the thread from the message to the messenger.
The message starts w/ the premise that the federal government owns all wealth in the United States and are doing people a favor by letting us keep some of it. now they have given the wrong people the right to keep.more of the states wealth. The horror.

I reject this premise.

I believe that people own the fruits of their labor regardless of their social or economic standing.

You are wrong! The fruits of the labor should belong to the state to be distributed by the state to each according to their need!

I think the rot precedes the Trump presidency. I think the rot is in equal measure in our actions, our minds and our politics. The cesspool is of our own making. A snowball going downhill and we are the ones who pushed it.

Yes! Lets continue this insanity.

I think what disturbs me the most about US politics, and I see it growing in Canada and the UK also, is the tribalism.

How many posters here will criticize their own party's candidates but still vote the pure party line? As bad as their candidate is, it's still better than letting "one of those" win.

At least in Canada we have three or arguably four viable choices and there is still some small degree of voting for the best man in your own district.

With all the bitching about both big party candidates in this last election I expected that third party guys would get a decent count, but no, people would rather stay home than vote for their own turd or the other big party turd.

Forget who said it? Who's saying it is what is important. The moral and legal decay of this country has been going on for decades. The vicious and unrelenting attacks from the Left are in direct response to the light being put on just how deep and entrenched the corruption in Washington has become. Trump is stirring the cesspool and the RINO's and Democrats are not liking it.
