Obama bowed too deep to the Emperor of Japan which frightened the Empress of Japan. Obama was head of state and should have given an equal bow. There is etiquette for a proper bow. I met the President of Daifuku (large Japanese company) at Hewlett Packard in Oregon and he gave a slight nod of the head and I gave a slight nod of the head back, and we shook hands. Japanese don't like to shake hands. Japanese won't eat pumpkin pie because pumpkins are what they feed their hogs but that is another story. I suffered the green tea ceremony which is highly revered in Japan.

edit: I strongly advise don't shake hands with a Russian or Ukrainian because it turns into a hand squeezing contest.

I understand. You believe telling verifiable lies to get legislation passed is in good character. I get it. It's OK.

Kinda makes me wonder what the RW's definition of "fine character" is. LOL

Well, at least jom is being honest. Lying to get legislation passed is in good character if Trump does it.

It is a really good bill for average earners and it is a good bill for upper middle income earners.

So in other words, no I am not concerned about your characterization of the President and this tax cut. I like it and so will millions of others when they get the adjustment. Then they will realize that the liberal press and the democrat politicians have been moaning day and night about how terrible it is and all that is going to melt away.
As long as you understand the rules of how this bill was passed, I'm fine.

It was passed by reconciliation, which means it can just as easily be repealed by reconciliation.

See you next year.

The title of this thread is a typical liberal blatant appeal to envy.

Good luck with that veto majority. Wait, do you still have dreams of Trump and Pence being overthrown in a coup?

Don't need it. With control of the House, we control the purse strings.

Let me think of the many, many things, we can make sure don't receive a dime for any reason.

With control of the Senate, there will be no more judicial appointments, or for that matter any appointments period.

It won't be hard to get the Presidency back from Republicans in 2020. The turn out alone will get any Dem on the ticket elected.

It will take precisely one year from that point to completely erase the stain of Trump, McConnell, Ryan, from the national landscape.

And with the Precedent Trump, McConnell, Ryan have now set as the way of doing business, imagine if you will what that Dem majority with a new President can accomplish by way of Liberal causes as a blueprint for the fast coming minority majority to use to completely reshape America permanently, from anything you even closely now recognize?

I for one am very optimistic on the future of the country.

I am glad you agree then that the House did more for spending and the economy than anyone else.
