ROTFLMAO! Of course it's not an issue with you. You're the man in the relationship.

If you were the woman, you might feel differently.

Yes, I agree that men and women are wired differently. They're also plumbed differently. So what?
Thanks from Clara007

Is it okay that although I've been the sole income earner for a number of years now, my wife still handles the money and makes most of the major buying decisions? I'd rather leave it like that than be what you would consider a proper christian head of the house.

No, I am saying my wife handles the finances? She does a better job! She also makes more than I do, who cares.

So men, and women, act differently, and to try to change men into what you find acceptable is wrong, and that is exactly what feminists want.

So, after repeatedly claiming that 'YOU' make the financial decisions, you are now claiming that your wife handles the finances!?

Which is it?

As per your second paragraph:..........What *I* find acceptable is each member of a partnership acting in accordance with their strengths. Not in accordance with someones idea of genital superiority.

I cannot speak for your idea of what you consider 'feminists'....... want.

My husband was the 'major earner' for most of our married life, but *I* was 'in charge' of the money.

Basically, he found it much easier to leave it to me than to deal with it himself.

Actually I said some time ago she handles the finances, but when push comes to shove on a decision that we can't figure out together, I will make a decision.

Same here! The biggest mistake any fundies make is assuming that all men are good or bad at anything...same goes for all women!

That of course is not true, just another blanket statement to make yourself feel above people of faith.

So she does all the work and deals with all the stress, but you insist on having the final say.

Great way to build resentment in a marriage.
Thanks from RNG
