It's STILL FUCKING BULLSHIT AND PROPAGANDA !!! Existing employees get at best $1 an hour or they GET NOTHING AT ALL if they live in a high min wage state or have been with the company long enough to earn raises.

So the head lines are VERY MISLEADING, as ONLY new hires are reaping the new min wage.
The announcement means there will be no WalMart employee making less than $11 an hour. New hires, and anyone already employed at a lower level.

You have been proven wrong at every turn. Perhaps you should just throw in the towel.

So, California thinks $11 us a living wage, just like WalMart.

And? Both the cost of business and the cost of living is different. The minimum wage where I am is $13/hr.

The point is that Walmart by raising their own corporate policy of pay to American workers to $11 is a victory for those from many states and counties that have a mandated minimum wage that is below $11.

Most counties in California, arguably the most expensive state to live in have mandated minimum hourly wages at $10 or less. If that is gain for a Walmart working in CA, Imagine the leap it is for the Walmart workers in the 31 states that have mandated minimum wages of $7.25/hr or less.

This is a nation wide policy. 22% increase for the Average ($14/hour * 22%=)

Goober YOU do the math that is a 3.08/hour raise.

looked it up and Wal Mart has 2.1 million employees in the US. Think about that...If a fourth of that number are on their minimum wage and get a $! raise...($8 for an 8 hour day) that is a whole lot more money going into our economy.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try to keep up. Walmart IS NOT GIVING EVERYBODY a 22% raise. That's what they and the Trump sycophants want people to think. But IT AIN'T HAPPNIN !!!

They have raised their STARTING PAY for new hires from $9 to $11. Any Walmart employee already making $11 or more WILL NOT SEE A RAISE.

They will how ever receive a bonus. Ranging from $200 to $1000 for 20 year employees.

Considering Walmart's turn over rate, I doubt many people will be getting that $1000 !!
