They didn't give bonuses last year. But THREE years ago they raised wages to $9 an hour then two years ago raised it again to $10 an hour.

Between the more then TWO BILLION dollars Walmart will save on taxes and the nearly 10,000 people they are laying off, I think they can afford to raise their employees wages a little closer to the poverty level. Many of them will still qualify for food stamps and other government aid.
