Republican Lindsey Graham just released a statement supporting Durbin’s assertions. How pathetic the Senators Cotton and Perdue had to resort to the Jeff Sessions “I do not recall” snowflake deflection.

Let's check out why there might not be so many Norwegians interest in American immigration:

World Happiness Rank: Norway #1 America #19
World Human Freedom Rank: Norway #13 America #23
World Peace Rank Norway #14 America #114
World Murder Rank Norway #76 America #9
World Gender Equality Rank Norway #2 America #45
World Primary Education Rank Norway #21 America #53
GDP Per Capita Norway $70,800 America $57,500
Guaranteed Full Health Care Norway Yes America No
National Unemployment Norway 4.1% America 4.1%
National Annual Gun Deaths Norway >10 American ~16,000
National Poverty Rate Norway 10% America 16%
National Life Expectancy Norway 82.1 yrs. America 78.7 yrs.

Now, yes, I can see why somebody from some "shithole country" might want to emigrate to America to seek a better life for himself and family - but why would any Norwegian in their right mind leave Norway to live in America? Because we have the
Kardashians and Miley Cyrus?
You left off the "taxed to death" ranking.

NORWAY #1

I have long said this is one of the things we desperately need to do. If the parents are NOT legal residents AND are not seeking to immigrate, any children born to them while in the country ARE NOT CITIZENS. This would almost instantly eliminate one of the biggest draws for illegals.

The second step is to aggressively prosecute employers that hire illegals. Let's start with Walmart !! Work our way down the fortune 500.

Yes they have a high tax rate. But they get A LOT in return for those taxes paid. And since they're one of the happiest countries on the planet who's to say they're wrong ??

They have excellent health care, retirement, social safety net, infrastructure, schools, low crime, low poverty, low unemployment, high productivity and pay. Sounds like a pretty nice place to live.

What is the racial make-up of Norway? Maybe that is one reason for their happiness?
