Are You Ready??

For the Winter Olympics?? February 9-25th in PyeongChang, S Korea.

PyeongChang 2018's vision for the 2018 Games is to offer the Olympic Movement and the world of winter sports New Horizons - a legacy of new growth and new potential never seen before. Its Winter Games plan is one of the most compact in Olympic history, it offers a unique stage on which the world’s best athletes can achieve superior performances. With PyeongChang’s strategic position in Asia and its access to a young and fast-growing youth market, the 2018 Olympic Winter Games will no doubt expose new generations of potential athletes to the power of winter sport.

And this is interesting. Whether the athletes experience the thrill of victory OR the agony of defeat, condoms will be provided.
"A record-breaking 110,000 condoms have already been donated to the Winter Olympics in South Korea — 10,000 more than the number of rubbers distributed in Vancouver in 2012 and Sochi in 2014.

With 2,925 men and women set to participate, it averages out to nearly 38 condoms per athlete over the two-week period — though the sheaths will also be available to members of the press and staff.

“Baskets with condoms will be placed at both men’s and women’s toilets at athletes’ village in Pyeongchang and Gangneung, the main press center, the medical village as well as the medical center,” organizers told the South China Morning Post." Any way you slice it, our athletes have dedicated their lives to their sport. Their discipline and success is a powerful lesson for all of us and particularly meaningful for those who raised them and cheered them on.

Pence to warn of North Korean Olympics "charade"

Vice President Pence, leading the White House delegation to the Winter Olympics in South Korea this week, plans to try to disrupt any normalization of North Korea amid the feel-good setting of the games:

A Pence aide told me: "The Vice President will remind the world that everything the North Koreans do at the Olympics is a charade to cover up the fact that they are the most tyrannical and oppressive regime on the planet."

"At every opportunity, the V.P. will point out the reality of the oppression in North Korea by a regime that has enslaved its people. We will not allow North Korea’s propaganda to hijack the messaging of the Olympics."
I am very sceptical of NK's motives but deliberately poking the hornet's nest is apt to be counterproductive.

Yea, smoking their nest first, then burning it to ashes is much more effective.

Looks like Russian DOPERS will not participate, but SOME Russians will participate under the Olympic flag. If they win a gold medal they will play the Olympic anthem.

When the IOC banned the Russians, it did so with a caveat — that athletes who could prove they were clean would be allowed to attend. In doing so, it opened the door to a Russia squad almost the same size as the one Moscow sent to the Vancouver 2010 games.

Lets see poking the hornets nest has for the first time since 2012 gotten NOKO back to the negotiating table with SOKO.

so Trump has accomplished more Positive with NOKO than Clitnon Obama or Bush.

So why has Trump been so successful at getting NOKO back to the Table than the past 3 administrations?
