New GOP Policy: Spend Spend Spend, And Spend Some More

Two words: Deficit spending.

In December, Republicans gleefully passed a tax bill that will add $1.5 trillion to the deficit and Donald Trump triumphantly signed it into law.

Last week, Republicans championed another bill that will inflate the deficit by another $400 billion in deficit spending and Trump quickly gave it his imprimatur.

But that's not enough deficit spending for the man who once dubbed himself 'the king of debt'—the leader of a party that spent years demonizing deficits and raising itself up as the party of so-called "fiscal responsibility."

If you expect GOP policy to make sense, you'll be disappointed.

The GOP crashes the economy, then people turn to Democrats, who revive the economy to the point where people feel comfortable voting for the GOP.
Rinse, repeat...

No, deficits have always worsened under republican control. You are confusing empty right wing talking points with fact.

So what does your thread prove. VOTE OUT DEMOCRATS in 2018. Vote TEA Party supporting Republicans. You can primary out Establishment Republcians and replace them with Tea Party types too

Paul and others have it right.

Holy crap, Republicans have control of both houses of Congress and the White House and you STILL want to blame the Democrats for the increase in spending????
