Your second line is pure bullshit.....Nobody wants this to happen again.... It's just that some people are using rational thinking and a whole lot are using emotion..... The Rational ones are saying "What causes it, and what can be done about that??"....The emotional ones are screaming The Guns !! The Guns !! The Guns !!......

In Florida, we had an epic FAIL .. The Broward County Sheriff's Department and the FBI failed and failed big time....What Laws or "assault Weapon" ban would have changed that??....

Whether there is a love affair with the guns has nothing to do with it...the gun is only the tool....

The solution to the problem is not letting these maniacs get the weapon in the first place....More laws not the solution either,,,This turd in Florida, was an abject failure of local law enforcement and the FBI.. What good are back round checks if there is a failure to check..??
Except that the gun is a different type of tool. One thats only purpose if to hurt or kill.

If this kid had been armed with a hammer, a knife, or even a baseball bat i seriously doubt it would have been this bad. Even those armed police probably would have entered the building to confront a teen with a hammer. I would certainly hope so at least..........

Yes...a tool for a specific purpose....but that is irrelevant....No gun, no matter how powerful, or capable of sustained firing, can get up off the shelf and go out and kill someone.....It takes a person with an intent....We have to figure out what is driving these maniacs and how to spot them before they get the tool...

Yes, identifying people in crisis is very important. Too bad our mental health care professionals dont have the ability to do so.

Still, even if we could identify those in need during a crisis situation, there would still be those damn tools sitting around everywhere for the others to get their hands on.

There are many issues to tackle, here, and we cant be successful without also looking at the tools.....................

And by the way, for the most part these "tools" are actually more like "toys". Not really necessary ones either.

Sure they are "toys" to some people....I know many many of these types...shooting is their relaxation....I use mine for hunting...hunting is my relaxation....(sucks now I am getting to old to hike around the woods)...I like to drag race and collect fast cars (Chryslers rule).....As we like to say "Different strokes for different folks"....But isn't that what makes us a unique country, we respect the right of each other to do what they like to do.??

I have a much bigger fear of the type of people that could get control of my country and start dictating what people are allowed to do, than I am of some maniac shooting my ass...
Thanks from Sabcat

Well, i am not afraid of some maniac shooting my ass either. What i am afraid of are a bunch of lunatics saying that maniac should have access to shoot someone's ass.

Yep, and Cruz had two acting parents in the house he lived in that required him to finish school and get a job.

I want to know where he got his nazi training from.

Which now that I think about it, most nazi wannabes come from homes with absent fathers.

Which leads to another question that needs an answer to.

How come none of these mass shooters are black, considering the fact it is they who are always getting a bad rap for coming from fatherless homes?
Thanks from Camelot

Who is saying that??...It is pretty clear that the right is all in favor of not letting nuts get guns....Even Red Rider BB guns....
