A Timeline of the Florida High School Shooting | Time

Now, about that evidence the thread claims exists with regards to a stand down order ?
And deputy Scott Peterson was supposedly outside for 4 min. Sooo....?

Your timeline doesn't really justify your statment and is nothing new.

Well, yeah...........but based on the fact that you did not know smaller magazines currently existed really does reinforce that opinion. You might have seen a lot of M-16's while you were in the military, however I strongly suspect that you have not seen that many civilian AR-15 variants with all the different rigs/kits/options that were/are available compared to many gun collectors. My remark was not meant to be disparaging.

They are selling "the original Stoner" currently?
The original magazine design, yes. The link I provided will show you that it is shown first, indicating it's popularity. It is currently sold out at that particular website.

I said I has never seen one on an AR-15 and NOT that they did not exist. How many times do I need to repeat myself here?

If you didn't know that the Stoner 10 round is currently available and is a best seller, I doubt you actually knew that a 10 round magazine currently exist. Despite the fortuitous wording that you posted prior to being replied to, you were called out and had to retreat. Any honest reader following this thread will see that. Your lack of knowledge was and is still clear to anyone with decent English comprehension and a dash of honesty.

You having never seen an AR-15 with anything less than a 20 is another indicator that you truly have not seen many AR-15's or even know much about that system. Ten round magazines are the most numerous out there because it was the maximum capacity allowed for sale, transfer or ownership between 1994 to 2004. All legal civilian owned or available for sale AR-15's in any make, model, and caliber AR-15's, regardless of pistol, carbine, mid, or rifle had ONLY 10 round or less magazines attached to it, and there was NO aftermarket higher capacity magazines legally available for sale or use in the ENTIRE country. SO that means for at least 10 years you never saw a legal AR-15 or you were surrounded by criminals. Which one is it?

To top it off, many "assault weapon" systems and platforms were banned by make and model, along with any copies. One named criteria of the "assault weapon" was any civilian semi-automatic version of a military automatic. However, there was also a grandfathered in provision to exclude all that CAN accept a 5 round magazine. So what did AR-15 owners do? they all rushed to buy the quickly designed and produced 5 round magazines. Five round magazines were what came with the AR-15's that I bought during the Clinton ban.

Furthermore, most hunters use 10 rounders or less because anything longer makes the gun unwieldy in a stalking environment. That is the same principle used by snipers. A shorter magazine gives you a smaller frontal silhouette to hide and camouflage, along with bringing you lower down to the ground or cover for better protection.

Continuing on, there are many AR-15's in pistol or carbine versions. Why the hell would anyone want long curved high capacity magazines in pistol? How the hell does it fit into a holster or a underarm sling?

Lastly, you may be a victim of fake news hysteria. Big magazines are not necessarily high capacity or even contain high performance munitions. Many AR-15 magazines are made to look menacing, but don't have the built in capacity. It is all look and no go. They use spacers inside the magazine, to make it look like a 30 rounder but can actually only hold the whatever current legal limit is in each state, such as 10 right now in California and 15 in Colorado. You can make a .22 rimfire rifle to look like an AK-47 or an AR-15, well at least to people that don't know guns, which is probably the majority here. I understand the passion behind the desire for increasing gun regulations, but at least have rudimentary knowledge of the guns before arguing about it.
Thanks from Sabcat

Most of what she says is false, so there is good reason to believe the "Stand down unless you're wearing a body camera " is just made up bullshit.
So the SRO and first responders were just chicken shit?

Nothing I write is fortuitous. I knew exactly what I was saying.
Retreat my ass. I retreated from nothing.
I repeated my previous statement, that saying I had not seen one does not mean the same thing as they did not exist.

Why in the fuck would someone make a magazine to "look menacing?

Yes, I know all about all the accessories that can be added to a .22 rim-fire. I've had a Ruger 10/22 for many years

Actually, the United States Marine Corps taught me quite a bit about firearms between 1968-1974 when I was a 0311. But i do not necessarily keep up with all the "fads" you people seem so enamored with.
I do not own a AR-15, simply see no need to have one, have no desire to own one.
