You can't handle or accept news that is not anti-Trump. US Steel just announced reopening their plant in Illinois.

Dude, you're forgetting all those offsetting Carrier jobs he saved.

OK, the loss of 142,500 jobs.

US Steel CEO: We're reopening an idled plant and bringing back 500 jobs due to Trump tariffs

And Marcus, what you said can be turned around. It seems you and a few others can't handle or accept news that is anti-Trump, even if it's spot on.

You can't fix stupid. And in the case of those people it's a special king of stupid.

If it's one person I have no sympathy for it's a union or former union member from PA, OH or MI, that voted for Reagan, or any other Republican that lost their jobs.
Yep. My dad works in a right to work state, and he is the steward for his union local. his coworkers are pretty much split between union members, and the non-members who just enjoy the salary, benefits, retirement, etc negotiated by the union for them. Anyway, all those guys are hard core Trump and Republican supporters who celebrated in November '16. However, now they are confused as to why all the state Republicans they voted for immediately began to dismantle the union's ability to protect their jobs, and they wont admit that they made a serious mistake but voting for those coming after their ability to provide for their families.

you cant fix stupid.

Problem is, my dad warned them about the things those people said about unions, but his coworkers said he was just a biased Democrat who would say anything pffffttttt.

I hope they like flipping burgers somewhere.....

No nation will try to do anything about retaliatory tariffs. First of all...they already hAVE tariffs. Germany...has 29% stacked against US imports of cars. But...none of the matters. The Eagle is protecting these economies...and...they know there is a President that will use that leverage. Look at China, too. It appears their own fulcrum (NoKo) will no longer be able to be used as a bargaining chip to let them continue their currency manipulation and dumping in (and "on") America.

Tired of winning, yet? Nope. President Godot will soon tend to Iran...

You don’t realized how Don the Con has been conning you. That is not my problem. Canada and Mexico have already been granted exemptions from the tariffs. The EU, Australia and South Korea are now lobbying for the same. This is nothing but a phony dog and pony show. Just like the Con’s businesses where he licenses his name to buildings but doesn’t really own them....LOL
Thanks from RNG and Clara007

My people will call your people. It's all about the art of the deal. Never mind the impact on American consumers and businesses.

He wants to desperately deflect the news cycle away from Russia, upheaval at the White House and porn star girlfriends so he baits the right with these bankrupt pronouncements. Bankruptcy is his specialty after all.....LOl

In a closed shop you have to join the Union, like it or not. I don't like anything shoved down my throat but took it when I had to.
