From CNN Money today;

American businesses are on a hiring spree.

The US economy added 313,000 jobs in February. That was much stronger than economists expected and the biggest gain since July 2016, according to Labor Department figures published Friday.

"The headline number is pretty outstanding," says Cathy Barrera, chief economist at ZipRecruiter, a job recruitment site.

The unemployment rate stayed at 4.1%, the lowest in 17 years.

Wages grew 2.6% compared with a year earlier, a few notches below the pace in January. That delighted investors: The Dow opened up 150 points.

More modest wage growth cools fears about inflation and rising US interest rates, both of which spooked the markets last month. The initial wage growth figure from January was revised down a notch, too.

In the first two months of the year, the United States has already added more than half a million jobs.

The report also states; job"particepation rate is at 63%, best monthly gain in 8 years "

The Dow ils alos us some 400 points. Good news...we should be happy about.

Yes...there is so much good news, for the nation, it is sad so many try to ignore the facts and figures. Each person that has taken a job, these past several months, is one less receiving aid from the tax payers...and they will be contributing some taxes to the treasury.

Now, rather than listening to all the bashing of the President about his meeting with N Korean leader, people should be saying...stay tough and make this work towards better conditions for all involved. It is the same with the tariffs. Trump is doing and trying to do things others have only talked about...like with the Dreamers. He said...get a permanent settlement and even offered his own outline of what that should contain...including legal status for them and a path to citizenship. All the Dems have done is say No, no, no. Fact...nothing has been done in the past...and he is trying, with action not just words.
Thanks from Tony

Imagine how he'd forge ahead on behalf of The People...if he wasn't assailed at every turn with specious rancour. These mid terms will finish off the Democrats. Not one voted for the tax bill...and...aren't owed any thanks for the returning vitality of the Nation. The surging investigations into Hillary's U/1 and the FISA warrants...will be full blown smack dab in the middle of these coming elections...and...it doesn't even matter if they stick...they will be "de jour" and will not help any Democrat. Gee...sounds like the Democrat 2016 play book, huh?

Trump never fails to astonish. Yesterday, the Navy landed a F-35 on a Marine helicopter carrier. The F-35 has a reported top speed of 1800 MPH.

edit: Price for a new F-35 is 120 million.

Sorry, here is an actual fact that you cannot conveniently spin;

Quote:
Fox News Research: Trumpís First Year in Office Worst For Job Growth Since 2010

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released Decemberís job numbers today, showing that the economy gained 148,000 jobs. While it represented another month of sustained job growth, and the unemployment rate stayed steady at a low 4.1%, the numbers did come in below expectations. And due to the less than stellar growth in December, 2017ís numbers revealed a somewhat harsh reality that even Fox News couldnít ignore.

Despite President Donald Trump and his allies boasting that the presidentís agenda has immediately resulted in stock market surges and job gains, the truth is that 2017 resulted in the slowest year for job growth since 2010.

Camelot just can't find anything to be happy about. Job participation rate includes those over...16...and it is slightly higher than the past hovering at 62,7%. the report also points out, a gain in wages ...and...that unemployment figure at 4.1%. Surely there is something there to be happy about...even if for just a minute or two???

I was just stating an inconvenient fact. 2017 saw the lowest job growth since 2010. Spin will not change fact.
