[QUOTE=Sabcat;1149262]Leftists are so funny.

When did they suddenly become hardcore states rights advocates?

Probably about the same time your side STOPPED being states rights advocates???

Which was about the same time you stopped support for fiscal responsibility and family values??
Thanks from Camelot and Lyzza

The 2nd Amendment clearly states that a well regulated militia being necessary, as it's core principle, makes the states argument in the case, as the law is written in the very spirit of the baring of firearms in a well regulated manner by the citizens of the state.

This puts the NRA of having to put forth the argument before the court that in order to not be in violation of the 2nd amendment, a 3 year old must not be prohibited from it's right to keep and bear arms.

You're gonna LOVE the NRA argument, Skews. Get this: The law is unconstitutional and imposes “a significant, unequal, and impermissible burden on the right to keep and bear arms of a class of millions of law-abiding 18-to-20-year-old adult citizens.”

The NRA argues that the restriction would put a particular burden on NRA members who are women under 21 because they are less likely to engage in violent crime than older men who can legally purchase firearms. The complaint argues that women “pose a relatively slight risk of perpetrating a school shooting such as the one that occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, or, for that matter, a violent crime of any kind.”

That ya go! This horrific law would put a particular burden on WOMEN! The NRA gets A+ for creativity. Beautifully done.

Trump banned the AR-15 following the Parkland Massacre. Florida is jumping on the Trump Bandwagon. It has been reported that Remington may file Chapter 11.

You are so right, Lyzza. Example (slightly off topic): Our AZ Dept of Corrections (all men) had a pretty embarrassing discussion a few weeks ago. On the meeting agenda was their policy for female inmates and their "sanitary pad policy". "Female inmates in Arizona had their allotment of free sanitary napkins increased threefold, after protesters denounced the 12-pad-per-month policy through an online campaign and by sending a state lawmaker tampons in the mail."

The evening news showcased PART of the panel discussion. HILARIOUS!! OMG. The elderly grown men were gobsmacked, stuttering, stammering fools who couldn't believe they had to DISCUSS and change the policy. AND then, of course, the policy had to be approved by the HOUSE of Rep. OMG!! Another fiasco.

**And free tampons were not provided — and still aren't under the new policy.
Thanks from Lyzza
