Hum, I thought for sure Trump said we should arm teachers. Now on what technicality am I wrong? The mentality of the teacher who agrees to be armed,
and the community that thinks this is a good idea, is different if the gun is secured in the desk, rather than when the gun is concealed under his/her jacket, or hanging and visible like the once popular old western shows.

A teach could put on his/her resume, gun for hire.

It's stupid.

All it means is that from now on in Florida, any kid who is packing and plans on taking out a lot of other kids will start with killing the teacher so there's no chance the teacher can get to a weapon.

I mean. Really. It's as stupid as saying that a wall is going to stop illegal immigration, even though all studies show that over 70% of illegal immigrants enter the country on a plane and simply don't leave.

Bi-Mart, Fred Meyer, Walmart, Dick's Sporting Goods raise gun sale age

In a democracy, we can do much more than vote to change our laws and political decisions. I like to think my letter to the editor, along with others, made a difference. Any one of us can act to raise public awareness and motivate action. That is the wonderful thing about living in a democracy.
Should we then make it that they can only vote when 21, because giving politicians power, is far worse than any gun they could possess.

oh, I'm sorry - did I roll my eyes out loud?

I've only expressed my opinions on guns in schools on about 50 threads here and for about a decade.

I'm not going to go over the same shit over and over and over again.

If you can't keep up, I'm sorry. I'm not taking notes for you.
Thanks from Clara007

Fire arm training should be part of the public school curriculum
