Some people have no hustle and blame everyone else for it.

The source of that article I quoted is Forbes...if they're anti-hustle, then you got problems! The source is an MIT report that crunched the numbers and if all is well for uber and lyft drivers, maybe you can tell us why the majority seem to be talking unions and organizing work stoppages against the company! Maybe if Uber spent some of the money on the drivers that they're putting towards lobbyists and robot drivers, they would have better relations with their drivers.

Speaking of the cars..I've been wondering why they don't want to buy and equip cars unless they can put robots behind the wheel, and they won't pay for cars that human uber drivers?
Thanks from Camelot

Uber drivers are independent contractors. I like their concept. I like the service they provide. I personally know people who drive ubers/lyft and have no problem w/ it. If you are smart about it it is a good way to supplement your income. If they do not like it they can delete the app. Problem solved.

They are heads and tails above a stinky taxi.

If you do not like uber it is because you do not use it. This is just another case of a leftist arguing about something that they dont understand.

Very astute observation my friend.

I'm judging Google also for that matter, and every company that thinks they can replace people with machines! I don't believe there is any way to make driving on public roads idiot-proof enough to reduce the variables sufficiently to just turn driving over to the machines. And wait until they start putting computers behind the wheel of all the transport trucks on the road! And then there's the issue of who is legally liable if and when robot-driven vehicles get in accidents and kill people?

But this company wants to replace those Uber drivers that you are concerned about with autonomous vehicles. You understand that, donít you ?

The majority of them????

I highly doubt that.

They are independent contractors. You and i have talked before. You are against the free market that those business models represent. You have cried and moaned before about how they are taking money out of the mouths of cab drivers. If they dont like the money that they make doing it. Stop doing it. Problem solved.

As for the whole driverless cars argument that is an entirely different story. Those goddamn things shouldn't be out experimenting on public roads IMO. Run that shit on a closed course until itnis 100% ready and those companies are 100% liable for any and all damage done by those monstrous things.

I could give a shit about uber as a company. I am opposed to the state forcing unions. IMO you unionize you get fired. End of story

So you are opposed to driverless cars?

Or is this just another topic that you are being fed by your handlers that like so many others you do not understand. So you will just parrot whatever talking point that you think fits at the moment?

What the fuck is it with you people and this "fed by your handlers" bullshit?
Please clarify that specific little piece of dumbfuckery.
