You say these peopled are "brainwashed" but you don't say how or what they are "brainwashed' into believing, thinking or acting.
You don't even define what the conversations you refer to consist of.
Only thing I can assume from the information you're giving me is that you are pissed they do not think exactly like you. WTF?
