Direct quate from Comey, in last nights

interview, replying to why he re-opened the Hillary investigation.

"I was operating in a world where Hillary Clinton was going to beat Donald Trump, and so I'm sure that it was a factor."

"I don't remember spelling it out," he added, "but it had to have been that she's going to be elected president and if I hide this from the American people, she'll be illegitimate the moment she's elected, the moment this comes out."

So she was going to be President and the e-mail scandal would be revisited "sometime"...get it out now and then she can say the people elected me knowing this, forget it.

Yes. You seem to forget that there was a con man on the campaign trail regularly making the accusation that the election was going to be rigged for Hillary. The Con Man, too, believed the polls and was actively setting up an excuse for his loss. Comey is right. Had Hillary gone on to win and the right wing found out about the email investigation after the fact, then the right wing would have accused Comey of suppressing knowledge of the investigation to help Hillary. That is the irony here. The irresponsible right wing created the whole problem that they complain about as they usually do.

His words...well on implying Russia had damaging information on Trump. Comey said "I think it's possible. I don't know".

Does this sound like an FBI Director? It could be "possible" the Russians have damaging information on XYZ but if you were FBI would you be spouting about what you "think" is possible?

Did you catch at the start of the interview, one of the first things Comey said about his first meeting with the President was...(Paraphrase) noticed he sure had a lot of hair...and it was real..."I" noticed that. He also commented on the face appearance. Obviously to any but the hate Trump crowd, Comey did not like Trump before he even met him and could hear what he wanted, to interpret his own way. Just like an answer during the congressional hearing where he said...Trump told his to "stop" the Flynn thing. Now he says that is what the President "meant", not what he said.

Honestly, after the first few minutes, we just turned it off. Too much of I think, but I don't know, but I say, it might be, it's possible.

Also, do you remember that last June Comey admitted he leaked memos of his meetings with the President, to a NYT reporter? Does that sound like what an FBI Director should be doing?

OH! Do you mean Comey sounded too much like Jeff Sessions?? I don't recall. I can't recall. I don't remember. I can't remember. Maybe. Possibly.

Let me help you. There are things called "PATTERNS"--patterns of behavior. These pesky, annoying thingees are used to determine a person's credibility--their reliability--their believability. These are used in court cases. These are used in bail hearings. These are used in business deals, personal relationships, job interviews. and YES---ELECTIONS.

Ever since the DOJ/FBI began questioning people like Flynn, we've seen a pattern of behavior from Donald J Trump. That pattern has consistently HOWLED "GUILTY GUILTY".

He chose Paul Manafort, well-known for shady Russia ties, as campaign manager. He picked Carter Page, a wannabee Russian agent, as a campaign foreign-policy adviser. Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Manafort met with a Kremlin-linked Russian lawyer. The president reportedly dictated a false statement about the meeting when it became public. With the Trump campaign's approval, Page traveled to Moscow in July 2016. WikiLeaks was in touch with Trump Jr. After Michael Flynn, who failed to disclose his lobbying for Russia and Turkey, was fired for lying to the vice president, Trump asked James Comey to go easy on him. Then FIRED Comey.
Trump encouraged Jeff Sessions NOT to recuse himself. Jared Kushner set up a back channel to Russia. Trump has resisted calling out Putin and Russia sanctions. Trump is obsessed with Mueller and wants Mueller fired. He colluded with Rep. Devin Nunes, talk radio, Fox News and other sycophants to discredit the FBI.

AND these are just a FEW examples. There are many more.

Trump doesn't have to discredit the FBI. Comey has already done it.

I see you can't or won't answer questions on Comey...and as for "patterns", I would suggest his "patterns" need be considered. His words..."Hillary was going to win ..." so he ...just what all did he do, thinking that? Hmmm. He now says someone else (Lynch) told his to call the Hillary "investigation" a "matter". He did it...but now notice it was the fault of someone else. He dropped the "matter" then, knowing Hillary was going to win, he reinstated it. You think ..."could be" Comey wanted to make sure no one else headed that investigation???

It...could be, is possible, might be, I think, maybe....

Uh-huh.

You and the rest of Trump's red-meat craving core as I've been saying forever have already made up your minds. Nothing Mueller can present will change your minds. You've convicted him, you've convicted Comey.

This was Trump's plan. He and his team it implemented. Not a single Trump supporter will be influenced one iota by Mueller's report, which will be exhaustive.

Truth again will be the victim.

Had Comey commented on ongoing investigation you'd be criticizing him for that. Don't deny it please.

First, he isn't FBI, the Republican President changed that. And his explanation about the Flynn situation was honest, open and clear. That you wish to look at it through your virulent bias is your choice and has nothing to do with his words.

And finally, what he said about Pee-Pee Dupree, was he didn't know but had to admit that it is possible the Russians might have something on Pee-Pee, a position he has never held with any other president.
