So, what was stated by McInerney while on FoxNews? "It [torture] worked on John [McCain]. That's why they call him 'Songbird John'"

The fact is, McCain made a recording, after being tortured, which was used for propaganda purposes by the Vietnamese.

The fact is, McCain even admitted torture works on mainstream media outlets such as ABC and CBS:

See What John McCain Went Through as a POW

McCain says his torture began in August of 1968. “For the next four days, I was beaten every two or three hours by different guards. My left arm was broken again and my ribs were cracked,” he said according to U.S. News. The North Vietnamese wanted a confession for crimes committed against the North Vietnamese people. After holding out for four days, McCain, at the point of suicide, agreed to write a confession. Looking back on his decision, McCain reflected “I felt just terrible about it… Every man has his breaking point. I had reached mine,” he said, according to the report.

McCain has written repeatedly of his service, including a long 1973 magazine article and in his memoir, Faith of My Fathers. A Navy aviator from a military family, he was shot down on his 23rd sortie over Vietnam on October 26, 1967. His mission was to bomb a power plant in the North Vietnamese capital. Already suffering from broken limbs, he was beaten by a crowd before being taken to a POW camp. After being tortured there, he participated in some Vietnamese propaganda efforts.

"I had learned what we all learned over there: Every man has his breaking point. I had reached mine," he later wrote.

McCain broke under torture and participated in making a propaganda recording used by the Vietnamese. So why has FoxNews banned McInerney for stating a fact?

Seems that FoxNews has caved in to our nation's politically correct crowd.

Without a Fifth Column Media, Yellow Journalism, Hollywood, and a corrupted FBI, Loretta Lynch, Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama, would be making license tags in a federal penitentiary

Now you’re just being an idiot. Torture works if you are trying to get someone to make a propaganda video.

Other than that torture is useless.

If you want the US to use torture to make propaganda videos then just say so, otherwise just STFU about how torture “works”

And? Contrary to your belief that torture is a selfish pleasure, there are people that are patriots and will do whatever is necessary to protect their country and/or love ones and countrymen. We can take the moral high ground and ask them nicely first, give them tea and cookies, then torture them if they don't play ball. Torture is a last option, just as going to war is. Do you think each side lines up and fire a volley at each other, then shake hands and sign a peace treaty? War will always be fought by operatives doing the deeds you despise while you sleep soundly at night.

That is no amount of nicety that will uphold a worthy nation if they are not willing to do what it takes to destroy the enemy and to defend it with every available option against an enemy that does not share your morals and limits.

& from what I see in the history books, once a nation mistakes torture for protecting its sacred honor, it very soon loses all contact with the latter.
Then history is not your strong suit. The Romans tortured people since the days of the Republic and then went on to rule for another thousand yers. Two thousand if we consider the Eastern Roman Empire.

The Chinese are the most brutal and creative when it comes to torture. Disregarding dynasty changes, they have managed five thousand years and their human rights records even for their own people STILL SUCK in this day and age. They'll torture your ass first then sell your organs after you have finally been broken down.

Nah, go back & read what I wrote. Another issue with torture is that practitioners too often lose their humanity in the process. & those people eventually return to their home polities - & what do they do then? Outside of slaughterhouses, those skills are not much in demand. & with modern drugs, the old-fashioned way isn't needed. In the field, I expect that there simply isn't time nor often occasion to wring every secret out of prisoners in the time-honored fashion. Thus the resort to medical means - not as gory as breaking on the wheel, to be sure. But that's progress for you.

That last bolded, BTW, is often misattributed to G. Orwell. But then, everyone wants to claim Orwell. He was certainly not a Right winger, he fought on the side of the Republicans in the Spanish Civil War, & nearly died for his pains. See https://quoteinvestigator.com/2011/11/07/rough-men/

"In the same essay Orwell made a statement about Kipling that thematically overlapped the later misattributed phrase: 5 6

"He sees clearly that men can only be highly civilized while other men, inevitably less civilized, are there to guard and feed them."

Thank you for finally agreeing with Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney when he stated on FoxNews "It [torture] worked on John [McCain]. That's why they call him 'Songbird John'"

So, why did FoxNews decide to ban him for stating a fact? Seems FoxNews has caved into our politically correct crowd. That should make you very, very happy.

There was a time not too long ago in New York when the able-bodied were ashamed to accept home relief, a program created by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1931 when he was Governor. Now, New York City and many other major cities are infested with countless government cheese factions, including recent abled bodied immigrants, who not only demand welfare, but use it to buy beer, wine, drugs, sex, and Lotto tickets.
