This whole LOVE OF dictators is astonishing. Tweet from Tom Nichols:
I just watched a completely clueless President proclaim a special bond with one of the most ruthless murderers in the world, whom he thinks is “a talented man” who “loves his country.” If I cringed any harder my spine would snap.

Trump says he trusts Kim. He says Kim LOVES his country and his people. Trump says he has an excellent relationship with Kim. Unfortunately, Trump has nothing good to say about Canada's Trudeau.

Is it just me?? OR.....
Another dictator invited to Trump's poker game?
Thanks from Camelot

Instant annihilation is what Kim would face if he attacked the US.

Third option: Ignore the MF.
Bingo. All he wants is to be legitimized, and Trump just gave him that.

Here's how it'll play out: Kim will promise to end his nuke program in return for economic aid. Trump will promise to economically prop up North Korea. Meanwhile North Korea will continue expanding and improving their nuclear research like they did every other time we made agreements with them like this. But the Trumpanzee halfwits will crow that it's a major diplomatic achievement.
Virtually every media I looked at this morning has said there is nothing in that statement that NoKo hasn't said many times previously and in fact most previous times the language was stronger.

The consensus is that Lil Kimmy got the war exercises cancelled, authentication on the world stage and legitimacy. Plus proof that having nukes makes good things happen.

The Republican President got empty recycled kisses and promises.

Aside from daily biases being a part of the reason we're in the mess we're in, i see no other solution other han these two.

This is why domestic politics use o stop at the border.
You are nothing more than a one trick pony blaming domestic political differences for everything that happens in the world. Little Kimmy’s grandfather started this nuclear program after WW2. Little Kimmy’s father continued it. To blame North Korea’s nuclear capability on domestic politics is nothing short of asinine. Learn a new trick already.
