The Republican President would do that in a heartbeat. So of course Neil thinks that's how things should be.

So the post I quoted was meaningless blather.

With China being NOKO's leading subsidizer, China wanting sanctions to be lifted is to be expected.

Why was it meaningless blather? Do you remember what I wrote? You may go back and re-read it, but I'm not so confident you're able to follow along with the discourse.
Thanks from guy39 and Sabcat

And you are naive enough to think this time will be different?

Every U.S. president has had a different set of circumstances/relationships with NoKo so as usual the RWingDings feel obliged to compare apples and pineapples....but Trump wasn't so anxious to play footsy with NoKo a year ago. Remember the "fire and fury" exchange? So Kimmy tried a different tact and Trump slurped it up, especially when the chit-chat commenced about a Nobel prize. Vlad probably called Kimmy and advised him to use the "nicey nicey" approach....a few compliments and Trump will melt like buttah!! LOL

When Obama was in office the North Koreans SANK a SoKo ship. Throughout his presidency, Obama warned and criticized North Korea for testing nuclear bombs and implored the Chinese government to help alleviate the aggression.
In his 2014 visit to South Korea, Obama said the U.S. would “not hesitate to use our military might” to defend allies, especially against “a pariah state that would rather starve its people than feed their hopes and dreams.”

When Bush was in office he dubbed NoKo the "axis of evil". “North Korea is a regime arming with missiles and weapons of mass destruction while starving its citizens,” Bush said. During Bush’s presidency, North Korea admitted that it had developed a nuclear weapons program, the New York Times reported in 2002.

During Bill Clinton's presidency, Bill tried to play nice with NK. Bill Clinton approved a plan which would provide more than $4 billion in energy aid to North Korea over 10 years. In return, North Korea was expected to disband and dismantle its nuclear weapons program. Guess what? NoKo broke the agreement. Clinton didn't use the words "fire and fury" but he made himself pretty clear about what would happen if NK attacked.

AND now here we are--20 years of war games, as Trump likes to call them, and HE THINKS this go-around will be different. WE'll see.

The reason I say it's a detail is because there's always one for any exchange, even shakedowns. The mafia shakes down shops in exchange for not blowing them up; this is also just a detail, not a justification.

Get out from under that very large ROCK and do some research.

Can you please do a little more than just post literature for me to read & analyze like a homework assignment? Please write up a point or argument; I'm not going to be a mind reader. If you do have a point or argument to make, maybe you've got me on something if you'd write up what it is, but I can't know what it is if you don't do that.
