I too find it awfully "interesting" how there are 30,000,000 "pro life" evangelicals in this country...and there are 130,000 UNADOPTED orphans. If only one in every 300 or so of those so-called "pro lifers" adopted a kid there wouldn't be any orphans. But even one is every 300 in too much to ask of those hypocritical dullards.

You see, Republicans aren't "pro life", they are "pro birth". They couldn't give less of a shit about human life or the quality of life. Hence all the programs that benefit poor children which the GOP is gutting or trying to end. And the only reason the GOP is "pro birth" is their usual gutless pandering to the dumbest segment of American society: the idiot hypocrites of the Southern Baptist Convention who can't even be bothered with the fact that the Bible is PRO ABORTION.

I'm sure it would be quite worth it. Short term illegalization of abortion in some backward, welfare red states (like Oklahoma, Mississippi, Louisiana, etc) in return for the permanent end of the GOP. Sounds like a plan.

One of President Trump's potential SCOTUS nominees, Amy Barrett, has 2 adopted children. If she's nominated by Trump, will that help her gain support from the Lefties?
Thanks from Sabcat

I'm opposed to some capitalist ripping & tearing unborn children out of a woman's womb because it's the slaughter of innocent children. I am not religious. To me it's simply a matter of the state protecting innocent human life, including human beings before they're born, which is perfectly consistent with protecting innocent human life after they're born.

I am libertarian, which means that I'm opposed to the state intervening or interfering with anyone eating, drinking, smoking, snorting, or injecting themselves with whatever they want. That means if a woman wants to take some herbal substance that can induce a miscarriage, then the state should not get involved.

So as you can see, I'm not opposed to a woman being able to terminate a pregnancy if she wishes. What I am opposed to is someone else coming along with sharp tools for terminating a pregnancy so they can make money. I support women who say, "stay out of my vagina." Abortion chamber operators, stay out of women's vaginas.
Thanks from Sabcat and GluteusMaximus

Doesn't hurt. At least she's put in her time and money rather than simple lip service like most of the not so pro-lifers.

My point exactly !!!! WHY are there so many children without permanent homes with all these people calling them selves pro-life. The truth is they are NOT pro-birth !! They have a fetus fetish !!!! Once that fetus becomes a living breathing human being THEY STOP CARING !!! Just another child who's mother should have kept her legs crossed. Not their problem. Not their concern.

I really don't see the difference !!! Does it really matter ?? The pregnancy will end either way. What's the difference between PAYING for some medication that ends the pregnancy and paying a doctor to do it for her ? Except that the doctor's way is most likely SAFER and will have fewer side effects.

And if you're truly a libertarian why would you have an issue with a good old capitalist making a few dollars ??
