Did you miss the argument? The rebuttal? How about journalistic credibility??
How about numbers--the number of people in a "movement"?

How about scrutinizing partisanship? Bias? Historical evidence of slant?

If the post included quotes from MSNBC, how would you respond??

But if you want the argument against leaving the Democratic Party, then you'll have to ask those who feel betrayed. Obviously something has changed their perception of the party.

Exactly, I'm not sure what there is to spin here.

I don't think so. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

You offer little but empty rhetoric. Is that OK for you to do?

It doesn't need a hashtag or some group claiming to lead it, many Democratic voters have become sick of the get-along gang in Washington and tired of being disappointed on a regular basis by 'reformers' like Bernie Sanders, who have some good policies popular with the majority of Democratic voters...but end up playing sheepdog and corralling all of his disappointed supporters at the Convention into the Hillary 2016 sheep pen!

They've been looking for alternatives for a few years, but the problem is your entire system is rigged against 3rd parties by the Duopoly that controls the system at the local level and the debates, MSM media access, and the oligarchs who fund their campaigns.

In the past year, there has been a surge of new members in the DSA organization, which seeks to work both inside and outside of the Democratic Party, depending on whether or not they can get their candidates nominated.

For awhile since the Clinton failure of 2016 and the blame-shifting to Russia, it was looking like the fossils who run the Democratic Party- DNC, DCCC, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, had successfully thwarted all the attempts by Sanders and other would-be reformers to change their MO and get insurgent candidates through. But, that has changed in recent months and the nomination of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez....knocking off Party fossil- Joe Crowley in a manner reminiscent to the Tea Party showing Eric Cantor the door, is a major breakthrough: a young female insurgent candidate of color, campaigning on popular issues and with less than 10% of the money her opponent brought in, could be the way forward and give people some hope....in the way Mexicans are feeling today!
